On Christmas Eve I placed an order for 5:30 pick up and paid, got there and they were still working on 4/4:30pm orders, I went in and asked they call me when it was ready and they agreed and noted my receipt. 7pm still no word went down and it was still packed. Went back at 8:20pm after still no call and they were closed. Yesterday went back to address the issue and they said they would make it then, no reason why they didn’t call or an apology. I asked for my money back and won’t be returning. They visibly took more orders than they could handle and left me with no meal on a night that everything was closed due to the holiday.

First time at this location, long time regular of Bayside Dr. We showed up as they were closing on a Saturday night. They unlocked the door to serve us, very friendly and accommodating staff. Food was amazingly fresh and served so quick with very generous portions. A definite must stop every time I visit Steve Gnome.

Always love coming to this Chinese restaurant when I'm around good portions for the price you pay and the food is delicious and I love that they give you a choice if you want noodles or rice I always go for noodles they are delicious😊

I definitely prefer the SJ location instead just from how hit or miss this location can be sometimes. The staff are incredibly friendly though so I give that to them!

All combos were messed up and it was the worst tasting Chinese food I’ve ever experienced. I will definitely never go back or recommend this place to anyone. Gross. Paid to much money for a discussing meal for my family. Never going back

We placed a bigger order for a birthday party and everything was ready on time (sorry to the young fella for the confusion), piping hot when we got it home and PLENTY of food for 13 people with lots of leftovers. Everyone enjoyed their plates. Thank you for taking that stress off and providing us with a delicious spread!!
Food was great and portion sizes were like any other similar restaurants. My only con is that food itself was not as flavourful and was missing that kick.
Ordered 2 number ones tasted like old fish just filthy broccoli was fishy moosh Walked out not worth eating never checked to see if the food was good literally got sick right after wouldn't feed it to my dogs. I'm super pissed ripped off 45$ never again.

Got the food, it's not I expensive - 2 people eat for $50 without the taxes. The Chinese veg was flavorless and was almost entirely soggy cabbage, a couple of way-too-large broccoli hunks and a singular carrot slice. Chicken balls were nice. Rice was fine. Egg rolls tasted... weird. They're floppy, undercooked and taste weird and not good.
Their quality has slipped. I cannot recommend this anymore.

It was fine. ------- Its okay, not super great quality though. Tasty, checks off the items and the gluten free combo is a great value and awesome item that makes it possible for my partner to even be able to have chinese food, however I usually find that the beef and broccoli / chinese vegetables are EXTREMELY salty and over-cooked and the sweet and sour sauce is a bit sickeningly sweet and congeals really badly as it cools.
