Really welcoming spot. Nice service, tasty local beer on tap and great food provided via the Peddlers Creek menu next door, which is connected inside. Terrific patio with large windows that open to permit air in on nice days. A really nice experience.

Good food.. great entertainment
Great spot! Beautiful patio and a very broad menu.
Ordered the burger special. Daves Double patty burger on Texas toast. I have never sent back a restaurant meal but I had to. The Texas toast bread on the burger was not toasted. The top "bun" or slice of bread was soaked in through in butter, the thickness of wonderbread, and not toasted at all. The double patty was a patty cut in half...so essentially a patty cut in two and jammed between untoasted wonderbread. I tried to cut into it and there was literally no structural integrity and the bread just collapsed due to the soggy bread. Just a mess. So for the first time ever I sent something back. They remade the burger but it took a good 15 minutes to get a new one and by that time my family had already finished their meal. The burger was still a patty cut in half and was drenched in too much sauce. At least the bread was toasted and the sandwich had structural integrity. Then we are charged full price to finish off the night. The worst meal I have ever had at a restaurant which coincides with my first send back ever. That marks the last time I spend a dime there.
We popped in for lunch on our way into NOTL last week for a getaway. This is an outdoor and seasonal place to eat, with cute picnic tables and a terrific menu. Out drink and appetizer came quickly and then it was downhill. People who got there before us got their mains way before us, when we asked it was coming soon. When it did finally arrive it had onions on it- as in purple or red onions. My husband has a mushroom allergy so they offered red and green peppers which was fine, but never mentioned onions- it gives me hives. When it came I explained this was not what was ordered, no explanation by our server. At this point we were waiting over 30 mins from out appetizer- and was told to remake another one would take more time as there were other people ahead of us! Just the worst service ever- poor training and staff. We spoke to the manager and asked for the bill and explained the situation and he magically produced a pizza in 5 mins. He did apologize and we had to go as we were late with all the waiting. The food is really nice but also really slow and staff who don’t know what’s on a pizza or not when they substitute for allergies. The gentlemen manager on duty apologized and we understand to a point but I doubt I’d go back.
Pretty good! Fries were great! Brisket was better than most restaurants. Chicken sandwhich was bland (even with a bbq hot sauce). They charge a lot $$$ for every little thing (toppings, sauces, mayo, cheese). The sauces were yummy. The patio was really nice and there were good vibes. Servers were kind. One of the servers was speaking SO loudly that we couldn't really chat when she was 2 tables over. Our server kept forgetting us (we waited 20 minutes between when we asked for the bill and when we got the bill). There was a barking dog inside??
Visiting NB - for our last dinner we decided to check this place out. GREAT CHOICE. All the meals we had were fantastic and big shoutout to Jason! Couldn't have had a better person helping us out! Next time we visit NB we will be back for sure!
Pub food at a reasonable price and the best cornbread I've had in the area!We were lucky to have a private space for a staff party here and were well served despite my cornbread arriving a little late. The brand's website, menu and in house aesthetic is all exceptionally polished and consistent compared to other businesses in this industry and area.A good template to follow for brew pubs in the area so long as this really is working for Barrel's Head.Try it out!
