Fabulous old house turned into a great restaurant. Food, atmosphere and staff all 10/10.
Highly recommended
Such a beautiful, history filled place to enjoy a delicious, affordable meal, amazing dessert and hot drink. I can’t wait to come back.
Accidental find. Ridiculously good burger and breakfast sandwich. Dessert made you want to never leave (eclair and the best butter tart I’ve had to date). Beautiful, historic building. Friendly, quick, knowledgeable service. This will be a regular stop now. #championstuff 👊🏽❤️
After wrapping up my morning at the Sackville Farmers Market, I stopped by this absolutely charming café for a quick takeaway and I’m so glad I did.
The building itself is an entire vibe total Gilmore Girls energy with its cozy, character-filled setup. It’s the kind of place you instantly want to return to and spend hours in.
I picked up a hot chocolate and a falafel burger to go.
The hot chocolate was comforting, though a bit on the lighter side for my taste, I tend to prefer a richer chocolate flavor.
The falafel burger, though, was lovely! The patty was flavorful, and the homemade crispy chips that came with it were a standout crunchy, well-seasoned, and so satisfying.
Even though I didn’t dine in, the warmth of the space and the friendly vibe left a great impression. Looking forward to going back when I have more time to sit, sip, and soak in the atmosphere.
Its absolutely beautiful and the sweets are amazing. Right now from tulip season, they put out tulips in little tea pots :))
Amazing food and atmosphere
Everything is fantastic! The pastries are always flaky and warm. Their food is always packed with flavor. And the overall aesthetic and atmosphere creates this energy of calm, relaxation, and warmth.
Wouldn't go anywhere else in town. They have my 100% support!
The management here has all the policies and tricks to make you have your coffee in a paper cup. The porcelain cups you see on the espresso machine are mostly a decoration to entice you to the idea of having a cup of coffee in a historic ambience. Otherwise, neither the coffee nor the service is any different than Tim Horton's.
I was introduced to this place from the Mature Students group from MtA, and I am pleasantly surprised that the bakery actually had dairy-free pastries that I could eat!! It's so rare for me to be able to have anything nice without risking it because of my allergy. I also tried their carrot cake once and it was delicious. The London Fog is lovely and pleasantly sweet. Staff was kind and patient. The homely old-fashioned atmosphere is also a major bonus. I'll be back sometime again!
Absolutely amazing place

We went for the tasting menu. The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was great. But the service was extremely slow (not faulting the servers, rather expediting from the kitchen) We understand that a tasting menu is a slower, more relaxed experience (we've been to other establishments) but this took too long. After the third course we were getting restless, as was the couple beside us. Unfortunately, a miss for us.

Beautiful old building with gorgeous architecture and character that is home to a Cranewood bakery and cafe.
They offer vegan options which is what brought me there. The veggie burger was delicious and trail mix cookies so good!
Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

I hope to be able to update my rating at some point, and the 1 star isn't because the food wasn't good, but instead because we didn't get the opportunity to try it.
After driving from PEI, we decided to delay our lunch and stop here based on good reviews. We arrived at 2:50pm on a Thursday (over an hour before they were set to close at 4pm) and we were promptly told that unfortunately they could not serve us anything because it was too close to closing time. I do understand that small businesses need to operate a bit uniquely, but to stop serving food that far ahead of close time seemed a bit peculiar.
Anyway, hoping to try it again some day - being more mindful of coming earlier in the day. The ambiance and selection seemed very nice, for what it's worth.
