The cook was not very friendly. The fries were undercooked and cold. The fish were small little pieces of frozen fish and on the website they said they’re famous for fried clams we get there. They had no fried clams. I don’t understand why they put on their website temporary out of fried clams we waste the trip for a $12 fish and chip and it was a large and we had three little pieces of fish. I give it a two for rating.

Bobs corner takeout is an institution on the Westside of Saint John. Famous for their fried clams they have great selection of food and ypu can't beat the prices. Dine in for an interesting indoor picnic table experience or takeout and enjoy at home. I personally get the cheeseburgers and love them.

Fantastic gem of a diner frozen in time and not in a pejorative way. The owner and his sons were working to the last minute and thoroughly like soldiers. The place is just so cool looking and there's a TMNT arcade machine to top it off. The food was great and the portions generous for the price in our economy. I hope they'll persist and thrive as it's important to keep our history alive. I'll go again when I visit Saint-John.

Last time I was there, the door was on the south side of the building. And the food was as good as it was then.

So my Mum's 101st Birthday has just passed and she thought scallops would be a nice dinner idea.This was my first visit to Bob's and will definitely not be the last! Cozy, homey atmosphere, lovely staff and patrons and, the scallops and clams, both with fries, were delicious! We both ate almost everything on our plates and enjoyed every mouthful. Thank you for making Mum's special meal such a success and for all the well wishes too. Pam, thank you again for your kindness too.

Food is good just like home and descent portions for the price. So far I've had the fish n chips and the liver with onions n fries. Parking is in back off of the side street and as far as I can see, there's no elevator if you have issues with your legs. Long set of stair up to the back entrance. Other than that homey atmosphere and good food and prices.
