Bobs corner takeout is an institution on the Westside of Saint John. Famous for their fried clams they have great selection of food and ypu can't beat the prices. Dine in for an interesting indoor picnic table experience or takeout and enjoy at home. I personally get the cheeseburgers and love them.
Fantastic gem of a diner frozen in time and not in a pejorative way. The owner and his sons were working to the last minute and thoroughly like soldiers. The place is just so cool looking and there's a TMNT arcade machine to top it off. The food was great and the portions generous for the price in our economy. I hope they'll persist and thrive as it's important to keep our history alive. I'll go again when I visit Saint-John.
So my Mum's 101st Birthday has just passed and she thought scallops would be a nice dinner idea.This was my first visit to Bob's and will definitely not be the last! Cozy, homey atmosphere, lovely staff and patrons and, the scallops and clams, both with fries, were delicious! We both ate almost everything on our plates and enjoyed every mouthful.
