What's not to love it's DQ!
Not my favourite..
I was out for a walk with my son and dog on a hot day. The dog is outside waiting with my wife.
Me: Can I get a small children's cone and a cup of water for my dog? I'll pay for the cup if you guys charge for it.
DQ: Sorry we don't serve cups of water. Only bottles. They're $4 each.
Me: It's just for the dog. A cup of water is fine. Do you not have running water?
DQ: We're not allowed to serve tap water because it's city water.
Me: Is there something wrong with the city water?... Actually no, never mind I'll buy a bottle of water for my dog, sure. Hands over $5 bill.
DQ: It's actually $8
Me: Ok, here ya go. Hands over $100 bill.
DQ: Sorry sir, we don't accept $100 bills....
When corporations like this forgo common decency in the name of nickel and diming customers, they lose Customers. This summer, go support a local business instead. Go to the pumpkin patch on the west side for icecream. Go to Bella's traditional icecream on Germain. Go to Delish on Prince William street. Stop supporting these faceless corporations who are only out to squeeze every last nickel of profit from their patrons.
Edit since DQ replied: why would I go back? Your reply lacks any kind of action or accommodation. Saying you care and doing something about the problem are two different things. How about you get in touch with this location and tell them they shouldn't nickel and dime customers who want to get water for their dogs... 0/5 reply.
Was in there to order few treats for my family and while i was there noticed another customer being extremely rude to the staff and i have to say the young girl who was helping the rude customer did an amazing job the employee remained extremely polite and kind even when the customer was raising he voice and snapping at the employee when she was just trying to do her job.You should be proud of the staff.
used to be awesome, but listen-last visit, banana split -mainly banana, very little ice cream and no strawberrys. and a -peanut butter parfair hardly any nuts @ tasted old powdery bottom tasted horrible-last of the bag. yuck
I have been going to this location since the early 70s, always good and always good service
Every employee has always been so patient to any customer, elderly or disabled. They’re sweet and caring. The atmosphere was clean and very in style with today’s generation. My favourite Dairry Queen to go to! Very fast, kind, and perfectly made life cream.

Far too many employees behind the counter. They were bumping into one another. All they serve are blizzards, no hard ice cream.

Ordered by mobile app. The app didn't take my coupon charging me full price and then when I went to the window they told me that they didn't even have my order so they didn't give me any food.
They said that they were unable to deal with the problem. I had to do it by the app. So far it hasn't been easy to have the problem rectified.

The ice cream is always delicious and staff are kind and push out products very fast, however the location is so small that customers trip over each other if there are more than a few people in the store, not really having any place to wait before/after ordering. It's always a game for asking everyone if they're waiting or have already ordered so you don't jump ahead.
Parking: 3 rows of parking, one along the building and 2 back to back, however the furthest back one doesn't seem to have much room to pull in and out so if the lot fills up and your in the back you may be blocked in.
