Hotel was okay in amenities and cleanliness, somewhat dated but clean. Our first problem arose when first arrived, if you have a vehicle taller than a crossover you will probably have to pay valet parking as the parking garage is super short. Valet parking means you get to park your own vehicle and they just take your key, no actual advantage to doing that besides being able to fit in that part of the garage. Next problem was the noise and out of control parties. If theres a sports team here when you arive, do yourself a favor and turn around and leave. There was a highschool team there and they were all getting drunk and yelling in the halls, slamming doors. It was 1:30 am when I finally had enough and left after multiple times telling the front desk. They told me they had zero control over it and were going to call the police because they wouldnt listen to them. There was crushed beer cans in the elevator and everything. When I left they were still at it so I imagine it went on much longer. So if your goal is to sleep when you come here dont bother.
Edit: after calling them they did refund our stay but I had to drive a long time in the middle of the night. It was a mess and I hope they operate differently in the future.
OK hotel in the city centre of Saint John. The room was clean and all the staff we interacted with were pleasant. Hotel is showing its age and lacks some of the modern touches of other hotels using the Delta brand, such as a pantry or club/lounge for members. Hopefully you get an upgrade to a city-view room or else you’ll be staring into a centre space of bird nests, the glass roof of a dead mall, and right into other guest rooms. Location is convenient to several restaurants, cafes, and TD Station.
I should have taken pictures of my stay because I am discusted by what I found in my room and the elevator. In my room was a fresh ball of hair on the floor almost as if someone cleaned their Hairbrush and left it on the floor. Secondly though its not the hotels fault there was garbage throughout the terrifyingly shaky elevators. The beds are hard however if your own a work trip the tables are solid and good. Also be prepared to walk alot as the delta hotel is a litteral maze to get in and out of due to ideal parking being on the 6th level. And one must take the shaky elevators bevause the stairs are emergency use only and will sound an alarm. Price is not worth your stay. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Excellent location a large property in St John with good restaurants. Lots of parking 6 levels, valet parking, pool, gym and entrance to underground St John city
This hotel has an actual person answer the operator line. Logan was excellent. Very professional and prompt. My whole call to check if the hot tub was functional, check on availability and book a room took less time than I spent on hold with any one of the other hotels in the area.
Staff were awesome!
Rooms were a little mid , maybe just needs a refresh
~FYI: parking is $20/day, and there is no street parking~
I didn’t really see this posted anywhere before booking the room… I wish this was just included in the room price, because it sucked being surprised with an extra $100+ charge
Dallas and Logan at the front desk were super helpful and friendly! Thanks to both of you for the kind welcome to Saint John:)
Mixed feelings here. We liked the location being close to shops and restaurants, and kind valet/parking staff. The rooms themselves were not bad and tidy. What we struggled with was the noise; there was a live band playing to 12:30AM despite the 11PM quite time and the front desk having promised us it wouldn’t go past 11:30PM at the latest. The walls were very thin so other nights you’d hear people talking in the next room, and many people on the floor deciding to have open door parties that the hotel staff should have shut down. Another thing that frustrated us greatly was not having hot water to shower. We’d also had a day where housekeeping forgot to attend to our room.
Was at a function, hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

Overall, a very positive stay! The hotel is comfortable, clean, and well-located, with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, perfect for both business and leisure travel.
A couple of minor points: the shower (shower head) and elevators felt a bit dated, and parking can be tricky for larger SUVs—the garage has a clearance of only 6’2”, so you may need to park outside or get valet parking in front of the hotel if you have a taller vehicle.
Despite these small issues, I’d definitely recommend the Delta Hotel in Saint John for a pleasant and convenient stay.
I've seen this hotel several times and I have a great time every time. The pool, the jacuzzi, the front desk staff and even the service at breakfast are all fantastic.
It's the only place worth staying when going to Saint john.
Fantastic 😊
Very clean close to td stadium
The location is great. The parking garage is a bit dilapidated and the rooms need an upgrade as they show their usage ... But close to all the restaurants, and friendly staff.
