So people have told me this is one of the best places for fish and chips. I was excited but sadly let down. Below average chips and fish was mediocre at best. Didn’t matter how much tartar sauce was added it didn’t hit the spot like other places in Saint John.
Must go when I come home to New Brunswick but the prices are now outrageous. Had the whole clams as you can't find them in Ontario they were delicious but $21 for a small plate of clams only I felt was overpriced
I've had a lot of English style fish and chips from more places than i can remember. From luxury fine dining to roadside stands to pulling the fish out of the ocean myself, they all have one thing in common. After taking that first bite, Im always brought back to the same thought. "This isn't as good as deluxe'
