As a Canadian that has lived in Mexico this place is the closest thing you’ll get to authentic delicious tacos in this city, the birria tacos are absolutely amazing and the papa friars are yummy

First had their food 4 or 5 years ago when at East Point. Was very tasty and reasonably priced. I haven't had them since and have ate at several other 'authentic' Mexican restaurants / quick service. And El Patron is the least flavorful out of them all.
Maybe my pallet is spoiled by other choices but it's not as good as I remember.

We had beef and pork Tacos as well as the chicken flautas. The corn tortillas were amazing however, the filling for the tacos was not the greatest. The chicken flautas were very very yummy. Would also like to point out that there was a long wait, approx 20min from the time we ordered.
