Enjoyed a lovely Friday supper before heading to a show. Doug enjoyed the Chef special and I enjoyed the Pickled Beet salad. Gahan beer to accompany the meal and a brownie dessert - all good! Service was great and we'll see you again soon!

The staff was great. The food not so much. We were a party of 4 and all of us said food taste was below average. Desert was great.

Wonderful food and ambience! Nov 2025 • Couples I chose the place for my birthday meal because I have Celiac disease and both the options and safety reviews were excellent. We loved the artwork, the cozy wood and brick motif, the food and the service. Erin went out of her way to make us feel welcome and paid careful attention to our every want and need. The fish I had was excellent. I'm not a big vegetable fan but these were really tasty. Even the broccoli was good! I hadn't checked the prices so the bill was a pleasant surprise. It was very good value for the money. It's our new uptown favourite.

The lobster roll was the best one we had in Saint John and the fries were on a whole another level!

Steak sandwich was cooked as ordered (rare), signature fries were tasty, and the seafood chowder was excellent. Staff was super, and food arrived with minimal wait.

I ordered a lobster roll. The menu listed a cold lobster roll with mayo. I asked for no mayo but with melted butter (Maine style). It was perfect. To my surprise you get 2 lobster rolls and huge portion of seasoned fries. Everything was delicious. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Great lunch experience. Would go again and recommend.

The most amazing seafood chowder I've ever eaten! The oyster sampler with 3 different oysters was delicious!

Visited during lunch time... three cruise ships were in port for the day. Seating was plentiful. The ambiance was nice that of a pub however the service was not what I would expect as a visitor to this establishment - no smiles, no small talk, no thanks for supporting this business. The food was subpar as I was expecting a freshness of the local catch.

Charred berger, 2/3 full beer and bar food grade at best. Our server was great but the food quality was poor.

During our short stay while on a cruise, grab some food and drinks. Great atmosphere, hospitality and the Oysters and beer were fabulous.

Our group of 8 thought this was our best meal of the trip! The seafood chowder is very unique and delicious ! The lobster roll was also quite good! I had an original beer flight and enjoyed each one of them. Highly recommend!
