We were not expecting this meal on a trip to the east coast. We were looking for a light meal to go, maybe a sandwich but ended up getting a turkey dinner, turkey dinner poutine, a salad and coconut cream pie. The turkey was homemade, moist and flavourful. But the coconut cream pie was the best coconut pie I've ever had. The crust was light and flaky, the filling was fluffy and so delish! I highly recommend this lovely diner to anyone, locals and tourists alike.
While staying at the Regent Motel, a few miles up the road, we decided to grab supper at Island Girls Diner; where 2 sisters from Prince Edward Island do their best to make you feel at home, while giving you a home cooked meal. I opted for the Liver & Onions... 🤗 It was SO good and enjoyable, and everyone really enjoyed their meal, we decided to go back there the next morning for breakfast before we leave town! Solid breakfast, I love that it comes with a complimentary tea or coffee. Lots of great items on the menu. I recommend ordering a piece of fish on the side! Very cute vibe and the washroom is very clean!
