IBN continues to be our "go to" for SJ fine dining with exceptional service. Never disappoints. We ordered an appetizer each and one for the table, because they are simply too hard to resist! LOL The level of freshness and authenticity in the menu is matched by the professionalism of all staff and the electric ambiance. Our only complaint is that IBN isn't open 24/7! Highly recommend.

Went with three other couples for a nice dinner experience and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent. We all had a drink, dinner and dessert. Everything was great by all accounts. This is a pricier place, so may not be the place if you're pinching pennies, but, if you want to treat yourself, this should be one to consider.

It was very busy and seat my fiend had kept getting bumped into and my chair touched chair at another table. Took over an hour to get food and had called ahead to order surprise desert with candles for b-day that didn't happen. The server and food were great and I love IBN but I did find it overly crowed and busy which may have slowed service and it was very crowded table spaces...

Supper at Italian by Night for the first time. Reservations for 7PM and immediately seated. The waitress, Mary Frances greeted us with a warm welcome and we proceeded with ordering our drinks. Our appetizer was the calamari with the best marinara sauce I've ever eaten. The entree was a mixture of large scallops, jumbo shrimp, and mussels in a carbonara sauce with cherry tomatoes and smokey bacon, all served with a piece of rosemary focaccia. Desert for me was tiramisu and my guest had the Torta, which was a very chocolate intense dish similar to the best cheesecake you've ever had. Overall, 9.5/10. The only negative was the noise level, although it wouldn't have been that bad if I was younger ?

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Italian by Night. The food was exceptional and the service was exemplary. I enjoy Italian by Night because they have a large number of gluten free selections, and then there is the Pavlova for dessert.
Service was excellent, portion size was great and food was prepared perfectly and exactly as described by our server! We had an awesome time, great atmosphere for a long overdue date with my wife! Experience was 10 out of 10!

We had an early reservation and the restaurant was just nicely filled. Seated right away and prompt service throughout by Alex, who took very good care of us. Delicious meal and out in a timely fashion. Ambience of restaurant was very nice. Attention to detail.

IBN is our go-to date night. The bar is the perfect quiet nook for a drink or two and an appetizer or an entree while maintaining a romantic or friendly ambience. Service and food are always to the highest standards. Every visit leaves you feeling like the chiefs VIP!
We chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday and I am so glad we did. Food and service were top notch. There was an energetic and fun vibe. We will make the trip from Fredericton again without hesitations.

This was our 2nd visit to IBN. I was extremely disappointed with the Scoglio that I had as my main course. It took us over a month to get a reservation and I was underwhelmed. I am sorry to say that I am not sure if I would rush to come back.

Atmosphere was very nice, lights were perfectly dimmed and the overall feel was very welcoming. We went there for dinner but couldn't get a seat, you need to make reservations, they fill up quickly. So we opted for gluten free pizza take out. Their GF carbonara pizza is out of this world!Dietary restrictions: They are careful with Celiac diet restrictions and food handling was great, no cross contamination.

The food was delicious, but for the price you are charging for gnocchi and ravioli.. before you even have a bite you can see the bottom of the plate, you know the portions are pretty meager. This is the first time in my life having to pay for bread in an Italian restaurant and I’m Italian! Lets bear in mind pasta is flour and egg.. gnocchi is potato and flour.. this was a special occasion and terribly disappointing…and we went home hungry.
