Lovely cafe in the heart of uptown Saint John. Friendly staff and ample drink selection. They sell several varieties of locally roasted beans and have an emphasis on local/canadian suppliers. The atmosphere isn’t as cozy as other cafes but they get an extra star for being so dog friendly!

Amazing little place. The drink was awesome. Workers were great to talk to. They even recommended good choices. Wish I got their names. A nice little morning coffee place.

I recently just discovered Java Moose and I have been recommending it to everyone I know. Their drinks are good and the staff here is so welcoming and patient. Very hardworking.
I tried three of their “cakes in a can” — strawberry matcha, peppermint mocha and biscoff. 10/10, I recommend all of them.
My only complaint is the pricing of their products. It’s hard to find the menu (with prices) online, along with some items being a bit on the pricey side. The cakes in a can were roughly $8.00 each if I remember correctly, before tax. However, it is worth it and I’ll still be back. I believe in supporting local.

I was very hesitant to try this place at first because it seemed really touristy. I was pleasantly surprised when I had my iced latte. The coffee is very smooth and strong so if you are a coffee connoisseur, I definitely recommend going here if you prefer a strong brew.

Fun, fresh, delicious selections!
What a way to start the morning! I walked into Java Moose and the line was pretty long. The staff member called out asking if anyone wanted breakfast, but I stayed quiet because I didn’t want to add to the chaos. When I finally got to the counter, she asked if I wanted a breakfast wrap. I told her I was fine and she laughed and said she had already made one for me anyway! She just knew. Now that’s what I call service!

I LOVE Java Moose. Staff is always so so friendly. I’ve tried a lot of their ice coffees and spiced chai’s and have never had a bad drink!! 100% recommend! Java Moose should be in every city across Canada!

My comments on the atmosphere are strictly for the staff's benefit. Great staff. They serve great products. They're friendly, they're fast. However, they have no air conditioning. I went in today, ordered a copy I planned on sitting down and waiting for my wife who works across the street. I was in the store for less than 5 minutes and was sweating so bad. It wasn't funny. Those poor staff members have to deal with this for their entire shift day in and day out. This is unacceptable and unsafe. The owners need to fix the air conditioning in that place

Great coffee, good Sandwiches, friendly service. The store itself was lacking atmosphere, but they were so dog friendly, I can't deduct a point for that.
