Jungle Jim's Eatery

Took my kids for dinner on a Friday evening. Waitress was excellent, very polite and attentive. The food however was terrible. It was cold to the touch and very overseasoned. I mentioned it to the Waitress, the kitchen said they would heat up our food (it had been 45 minutes since we ordered by then, so we took it home to heat up). The waitress was very apologetic but was not able to do anything further about it. 2/10, will not be returning.

Terrible Experience at Jungle Jim’s Eatery

Waited 20 minutes for takeout order, and when it was finally ready, the server told me they had no bags. After spending
over $80 and got handed seven meal boxes—just loose boxes, no bag, no way to carry them properly. To make things worse, the woman at the counter was rude and didn’t even try to help or apologize. Honestly, this place has zero customer service. If you can’t provide basic things like a bag or decent service, why even take big orders? Absolutely not coming back.

We went to jungle Jim's last night for steak and had a great experience. Our server Amiyah was amazing we can not say enough good things about her! Service was fast, she made our 3 drinks we ordered perfectly. I ordered a Cesar and alway struggle finding someone who can make them good, it was delicious so I ordered another one. The food was very good. We eat out at many places but this was definitely the best service we've experienced in a really long time. If every restaurant had a waitress like this there would be some very happy customers. We will definitely be back!

We had Jungle Jim's tonight and it was completely disgusting! I have no pictures of my meal (though mine sucked as well) but PLENTY of my mom's meal. Her fish and chips were literal MUSH! I have no idea what has happened recently to Jungle Jim's but it's just awful!! Last time we walked out after waiting 15mins to even get served our drinks. They charged me $35!!!! For just chicken fingers and fries (that were so tough I couldve choked), and Jalapeno Poppers that literally weren't all that with just a BUCKET LOAD of salt on both of our fries!! Hers came to $25 for that MUSH that turned her stomach. What a disgusting establishment it should be shut down until it gets a revamp.

Awesome experience! We're visiting from Ontario and this was a great first restaurant to visit. Super friendly & personable waitress and good food & yummy drinks! I like the fish tank too.

DONT COME TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!!! FOOD WAS AWFUL AND VERY COLD, SERVICE WAS NOT GOOD . Waited 20 minutes for the host take my order. And 20 extra minutes for the food to get ready. Awful food by the way.

Was not happy. I use to love going to Jungle Jims. The food has gone way down. Nothing like it use to be, was good before.

Server was awesome; friendly, attentive and efficient. Restaurant is tidy and clean.

Overpriced for quality of food….especially with entrees between $20-30.

Food is awful, reheated, prepackaged. I had a honey garlic rice bowl that looked and tasted like a reheated frozen $1 grocery store entree. Husband had inedible caesar salad ( how can you mess that up?).

Onion rings were good.

It was steak Thursday. It was undercooked and over charred. Sorry folks, but for a first time to jungle Jim’s, I just won’t be back.

supporting local business, interesting themed restaurants which is the first to me in Saint John. Price....is okay but I thought salad was +$4.99 but now that I saw my receipt it was charged $8.99

If I could give 0 for service I would, waited 1 hour for an appetizer, 40 min for drinks and once food arrived we had enough upon what we saw. Threw 40 on the table and walked out they were lucky we paid for our drinks and appetizer

I ordered fish and chips, substitute the fries for baked potato. I asked for butter and sour cream.
Food came and my friend had to go ask for my sour cream.
I also noticed I had no coleslaw which is included.
The waitress offered me a substition of an extra tartar sauce? I said, no, a couple bucks off will be fine.
She said, she realized they were out of coleslaw. She did not mention this until I asked for it.
The bill came and no discount! She said the sour cream was extra for the potato!
I can get a sour cream included at Wendy's with a baked potato!
I won't be back and I will be spreading the experience!
Very poor service!

I took my mom there. For her 50th birthday Nov 10th 2024 and was an amazing experience. The man who served us was extremely polite and was a blast to be there. Was extremely down to earth. We would definitely go back. The food was amazing the portions we’re filling and we took the rest home deserts were yummy ? I’d recommend the cheesecake sticks I called them thank you guys so much for hosting my mom’s 50th birthday
