They're doing great things with the food here lately. Last 3 times we were here was awesome. This visit we had the pasta special with scallop, bacon and mushroom, Greek salad and my wife had blackened haddock tacos both were very very good. Last time I had the smash burger and before that chicken club with smashed avocado all winners.

Haddock done just right, great coleslaw in the fish tacos. Salmon very good too.

I've had a couple bad experiences, food is hit or miss. I find the server and the cook spend a lot of time staring at the customers. Make you feel uneasy but other than that. I won't be back.
I always give a restaurant 3 tries, but 👎👎
I felt very welcomed by Sam and Geoff while I sipped a delicious Red Beer from PEI Brewing (brewed exclusively for this pub), and munching on fish tacos.
I have to say, the beer was the second best Red I've had in the Maritimes and the fish tacos hit the spot. Thanks for everything!

Picked for the name but would go back for the food and the service. Jeff was very nice but Melissa was to die for. She performed well in the tickle fight then wow'd with her french skills. She's a pro at helping people park as well. If I could take her back to Ontario with me I would.

The salmon dish saved the rating, and they had my favourite NB beer. However, the lobster rolls were tiny and unimpressive. The accompanying fries were way over salted.

I will put 3/5. I expected that the lobster roll was big, and it was totally wrong.
The person who serve customers on that day was not really friendly enough. He may require to train customer service skills.

$86 wasted. Seriously. $25 nachos with 2tbsp of ground beef, cheese, nachos, tsp of peppers. Something a teenager makes at midnight with a bit of leftovers. Do not go here if out of town.
Here is what a real $25 plate look like at Lily Lake Pavilion in Rockwood Park. Twice as much food for nearly the exact same amount. Go there instead.

I only got food her no drinks don't know if thats part of the experience, but I was disappointed with the amount of care put into into the fish tacos, they were drowned in sauce and very slop like. Won't be back

This was our first time here as we were passing through after getting off the St Johns ferry. I had the Lock stock barrel Burger which was absolutely delicious alongside a baked potato which was good but a little dried out on the inside. My wife had a Reuben and mushroom soup which I believe was a special for the day. Both were tasty! We'll keep this place in mind the next time we're passing through St. John's.
