A true hidden gem in Saint John!!! Even if you’re not a salad person, I’m sure you’ll enjoy salads after visiting this place!
I was there on Saturday for a solo lunch date where I had the Hottie salad. One word - sublime. Fresh, tangy, crunchy, sweet and absolute perfection all in one bowl! Loved the different flavour combinations and textures. One small change that I would prefer is to have more of the soba noodles.
The decor is nice and chic. It’s a nice quiet spot to have a good time and obviously enjoy some good food ! Prices are very good given the portion size.
Tons of options to try - veg and non veg with addition of proteins. Do check out this place next time you’re in Saint John!

I can’t even wait to finish eating my delicious gluten free peanut crunch bowl to write this review. What a great find! My taste buds and body are singing with joy to have this kick ass healthy option in the heart of Saint John! I travel here regularly for work and I’m thinking we’ll be best friends !
Taste is perfect. Ingredients are fresh. Service is helpful and kind.
Dining area and patio are cute as hell.
Options are plentiful.
Love it!

Best salad I’ve had around town.
We found Marcie’s by accident, looking for a public washroom, haha, but had lunch there and it was terrific! We each had a salad that was outstanding, and the staff were also great. So. There you have it 😄

Unfortunately I have to give this salad place a low rating. Here’s why…
While the salads we had tasted delicious, we paid $16 for them plus an extra $3.99 for shredded chicken (many of the salads do not come with protein).
At that price we expected to get a serving of chicken. But it wound up being maybe a tablespoon of tiny little bits of chicken.
As my nephew and I walked back to our car I noticed I was still very hungry and asked if he was and he said he was starving. It was incredibly disappointing to pay $40 plus tax for dinner and have to go home and immediately cook an entire meal to feel satiated. Those salads felt like an appetizer. I won’t be back and couldn’t help but feel ripped off after that experience.

A truly wonderful place! The food was delicious, the atmosphere warm and inviting. This place is delightfully dog‑friendly, but what truly shines is its human warmth. Thank you for welcoming us with our dog! ❤️

Marci’s was amazing. Had 3 delicious salads. The staff was so lovely. The young woman who served us was so kind and even took the time to write out things for us to do in Halifax. I highly recommend stopping in if you’re in St. John.
Had the hearty salad and it was delicious! I have a gluten allergy, and it was nice to have alot of options to choose from. Super friendly staff as well!
