Our first meal in Saint John and it was delicious! The adults has haddock and fries…so filling!Kenya, our server was amazing! She stayed on top of filling out water and was so kind. She even have us some recommendations for places to visit while hereKid-friendliness: Good selection on kids menu. Kenya was also great with my 2 children

Went to the venue for a comedy event, that was spot on. I called earlier in the day to make a reservation to eat and was told I couldn't because of the event. I was given the impression that food was not being served but in fact, when we got there people were eating. Not impressed!!

such a great place. best prices in this location. i had the prime rib, with mashed potatoes gravy and mushrooms. could not even eat half of the portion. and the popover added was such a reminder of my grandma. i just loved it.

We were looking for a place for a couple of beers and apps. We chose here because there was great live music coming from the patio. Drink selection is good. Food selection on the patio is limited. Service was great. The local musician, Austin Eastman, was awesome and that’s why we stayed for more drinks. We’ve walked by this place a few times. It seems like they are great supporters of local music. We’ll definitely be going back.

Patio is a good place to sit. It was quiet when we went for lunch. Friendly service, food came quickly. Kids got burgers and my husband and I shared the tater tot poutine and the spinach salad. The food was ok, and we left satisfied.

Corey and the team are always on the ball. The food selection for what it is is great. The best seats in town for the stage and great entertainment inside all the time! A must go when you go to the Boardwalk!

We were able to have the most perfect private wedding reception at McGills. Corey was great to plan with, very accommodating, thorough and followed up throughout the planning process to make sure we had everything we needed. The day of the reception went off without a hitch and everything was in place for us. Some comments from the guests included: “this is a perfect space”, “I didn’t know that a private party could be held on the boardwalk”, and “ awesome food and drinks!” It was a cold day and so nice to be able to park underground and be steps from the doors of McGills. One might think a restaurant/lounge wouldn’t be able to be turned into a space where it would feel like a wedding reception would be held, but I think the pictures prove otherwise :) Thanks so much to Corey and his crew for helping us celebrate and I’m sure this won’t be the last private event we plan with you!

I had my 60th at McGill's. It was the Best Party Ever! They let us bring our disco CDs (yup, CDs kids!) and there were disco lights...we all dressed up. The staff was epicly friendly. Fast forward 4 years and McGill's has upped its menu and refined its decor. Great apps here! Love this spot for a happening Friday night or a smooth, relaxing Saturday afternoon pint. Corey is so welcoming and the outside patio is the best view of the stage!
