Easily one of the most mediocre lobster rolls I've ever had. It would be better off called a lobster salad roll, but it had little flavor. The lobster is pre-bagged for easy portions and preparation, but it somehow makes the roll feel lifeless. I think the most irritating part is that the filling is served on a pretty plain hot dog roll. It also tasted like there was a lot of filler (imitation lobster?), I may be wrong about that but it's how it tastes. Overall just a disappointment. I appreciate the business wanting to make things right, but it seems like it's flawed on a fundamental level. Maybe other food options are better
Lobster roll was great….lots of lobster for the price!
Great variety of crafts. Food Korean and Japanese too close early.
Nice service and good smoked fish. Worth trying.
We were in town for a visit and our local friends were excited to show us the fish market for purchase of fresh lobster so we were excited to get out and look at options. To our big disappointment when we arrived nothing was packed out on display and we had to request to see products from behind with scenes. The guy who served us Mike, was amazing and gave fantastic service and tried to assist us as best possible under the circumstances. We did end up buying 4 lobsters but avoided the oysters as they did not seem fresh after shucking a couple to check quality. The smoked salmon was tasty.
Exlent
Amazing lobster roll. 10/10 service.
Not what I thought it would be like, may be the wrong time in the season.
Chowder was great, lobster rolls - suggested by the hostess - were bad. Lobster was dry, tasteless and chewy, salad was too salty. It was a relief to push it down with the potatoes my wife left, that were so bland she didn't see the point in eating them.
I visited while on vacation and had "poutine" for the first time in my life. May not be the traditional style since it had shredded cheese, but it was the most satisfying thing I've had to eat in a long time. Would absolutely order it again!

Great local artists and vendors

BEWARE: The food quality changed dramatically after the COVID-lockdown. So, don't trust any reviews dated before 2020.This used to be my favourite place. Before the lockdown, seafood chowder used to have plenty of fresh fish and came with a soft dinner roll. Now, the seafood chowder tasted like cafeteria food with all seafood disintegrated into the soup. The roll was stale and inedible. My friend ordered fish & chips. The fish was fresh, but the batter was soggy instead of crunchy. The fries were excellent and was the highlight of the dish.If you are tourists and looking for good seafood dishes, don't get them here. They do not represent what Saint John can offer.
