Great beer selection and a nice atmosphere
Good brews. Like the raddler. Definitely gets packed here during the moon festival. Mango sour is okay

Great beer, bad environment. You seem to get a discount if you bring a barking dog.
Such a fun atmosphere and layout. The staff are great, and so are the other customers. A great place to hang out after the work day.
Recently paid a trip back to Picaroons for the first time after moving out of Saint John in 2020. Picaroons was always a favorite of ours when we were living in Uptown, and it was a great trip back through memory lane to go again. The pumpkin beer was especially delicious. And always great to see that Picaroons allows dogs inside.
Picaroons is a local favourite and a personal haunt. They serve their own brews along with cider and seltzer, and have the best selection of NB Craft Beer cans for takeaway.

A fantastic bar, lovely atmosphere and welcoming people. Great beers on tap and tasty pizza from next door. We've enjoyed 3 nights there during our visit to St John.
cool place, very good beer, worth the visit. In case you want to grab a bite there's Pomodori pizza next door connected to the place and they bring it to you. We had the Melon Head on tap and a bianca maple pecan pizza. All good.

10:20 on a Thursday night, the doors were locked and 2 staff gazing at me trying to enter. Website advertises until 11pm. Tried to call at 10:50. No staff to answer the phone. Not cool.
The combination of friendly staff, delicious local cider& beer, and a welcoming attitude toward furry friends creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.
