We had a hard time finding this, it is tucked in the corner of an underground parking lot. We have had the fish and chips, wings, hot chicken sandwich and the club sandwich over the last couple visits and its been good food with great service and super daily specials. Hand cut fries instead of the frozen fries would take this place over the top. I would recommend the fish and chips, the pulled fish is fantastic - crispy and cooked perfectly.

The original pub down under is one of my favorite spots in the city! The staff are friendly and the service is fast. The traditional pub food is delicious! They never disappoint.
Where to begin?the table we were seated at was dirty,had to ask to have it wiped down. The young man working seemed a little overwhelmed. While spraying the cloth to wipe the table he sprayed me repeatedly with the over spray( hopefully, accidentally) . Drink order was taken quickly (only plus). our food order was taken within 15 minutes of being seated. The wait time was 75 (it was busy) minutes from ordering to being served. I had the Philly cheese steak sub and fries. The meat tasted freezer burnt and the fries were okay,gravy isn't the best. Definitely not worth $30 (with a pop). I don't think I will be back. Oh yeah, the appetizer arrived with the entree. All in all 3/10

We absolutely love this place! Kate is an absolute gem and has taken care of us each time we’ve gone in. There’s another gal who has also been wonderful, but I sadly haven’t gotten her name yet. This is a get what you pay for kinda place, except the wings are SUCH A steal! Can’t pass up a $5 double Caesar on Sundays either. Thank you for always being so friendly and fun, with great music!

Our waitress (Christina) was fantastic. What a great personality what a great smile. Her recommendation for the lobster roll and the lobster gilled cheese was spot on, her choice for the Skor cheesecake was again spot on. The restaurant is nice and clean. I highly recommend this place. Ask for Christina and the lobster sandwich without mayo

Great value compared to others. Had the Canadian version of a Philly cheesesteak, Poutine! Ha. For like $13. Good selection of bier BUT SHUD HAVE SOME NEWFOUNDLAND ones there. Amanda most vivacious of great staff. Hard workN!Would go again. But doubt I’ll EVER Be This Faraway from home again. Give four stars to St. John overall.
