I dont know the name of the host for karaoke last night but she was horrible to us. Idk if shes homophobic or just favors st john locals but we were in town from Montreal for one night only (and i told her this) and i just wanted to sing one Lisa Leblanc song since we were in New Brunswick and she just kept ignoring me and my girlfriend and passing people in front of us, literally til the bar closed. I didnt even get to sing my song. She was so rude and i was being super patient with her 😮💨 some people, man...

Great experience over there. There is Karaoke after 9 pm every day including a space for dancing. Nice personnel and very affordable drinks. Place closes until 2 am for those who want fun after a long day at work.

Blond older female bartender was unnecessaryly rude! After loosing my drink when I went to the washroom I asked if I could leave another behind the bar, well this seemed to be to much to ask to simply set it aside, she snarked she was not going to babysit drinks, it was a simple ask that she could have handled in a more professional manner. The bar was not so busy as to maybe justify her ignorance to bar ettiguet.

I mean really...a bar with a mobility scooter parked outside the front door at 11am has to be awesome. And it was.
In all seriousness, the bartenders were great. The young guy, whose name I didn't get, was an encyclopedia of pop culture. And the young female bartender the next night was multi-talented; bartender, addictions counselor, psych-ward Orderly, bodyguard. Good times.
Next time I'm in Saint John I will definitely be back.
