Heard so much about this restaurant so tried it for a birthday. Totally disappointed. Food was mediocre, really slow service, just one or two workers. Won’t be going back.

Everything was amazing! The service was excellent, the people were so kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere was beautiful. The food tasted delicious and fresh, and everything was perfectly clean. I really enjoyed my time there and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Dinner was delicious! We had the AYCE Barbecue and everything was fantastic. Our server, Ola, was super attentive and made the evening fun. He is also a talented bartender -the drinks were lovely. It was better than I had hoped for when I made the reservation.

And the view was incredible.

We had a delightful meal last evening! We had not planned on eating at the restaurant, but walked in to ask questions about the reversing falls. The owner was great and gave us some information. It was about time for dinner and with the big window views of the falls, we decided to stay. Christian, our waiter, was the best! He was very engaging, spoke about some of the history of St. Johns, the restaurant, and the Bridge across the falls. I had the falafel meal and it was very good. The salad was fresh, light, and crisp. A ate all the hummus, falafel, and rice and did not leave a drop. The pita bread could have been softer and fresher, but was fine. We also had a glass of wine, coffee, and dessert, too. We were so glad we stopped and ate there. It was a fun evening and the staff couldn't have been nicer. We would definitely eat there again but sadly live quite far away - Alaska and Maine. Again, thanks to the staff for a memorable evening!

Delightful welcome by the propieter when we stepped in to inquire where to view the reverse falls. He was friendly and forthcoming about the falls. It was a chilly night so we decided to have a bite to eat. The restaurant overlooks the falls and we wanted to see them adjust to the tides. Christian was our friendly waiter. We noticed his friendliness with other customers, chatting them up on their travels. I ordered crab cakes and a simple green salad…and a delightful glass of Chardonnay. My friend ordered the felafel plate and a red wine, and declared both delicious. What I especially liked was the vibe. The proprietor’s family even came in for about an hour to visit. Fresh, unpretentious, friendly, even a little quirky. Not corporatized at all. In this day and age, that’s refreshing.

Table for our large reservation was given away before our on time arrival. We did have a large group. Drinks orders finally arrive after an hour and after I went out and requested that they come to take drink orders. We received food at the 2.5 hour mark. Drink were brought to a table of 13 ppl one by one over a period of 30 mins. Dinners were brought out one at a time over a period of 45 mins. Manager was very responsive when I went to find him at the 1.5 hour mark.

We had the lobster roll with fries and the haddock with fries for lunch. The fries were okay but the lobster roll and haddock were very disappointing. We will never eat there again. Definitely NOT worth it.

We didn't eat. Just had a few beers. The bartender was really awesome. Super friendly and informative. Had an awesome view as well.
