All you can eat was only $30. The beef kofta, chicken wings, salad and rice were great. I enjoyed the grilled pineapple too. Decor is not up to date, still has the fallsview vibes. But the view is nice, and I believe they'll continue to grow into it. Also service was superb.

Went in for a Valentine’s Day supper, was able to get a reservation on pretty short notice. They were very short-staffed and we were there for about 3 hours total. My burger arrived and then we learned that my lady’s lamb got burnt.
Luffy’s Smash Burger is excellent, the fries are some of the best I’ve had in town so far. She got the surf-and-turf as a replacement which I would say isn’t worth 45 dollars (but we got it free so I’m not factoring it in. Steak a bit too well done and salmon was a little dry, that’s all.) Pretty great mozzarella sticks, 4 for 8 bucks.
Normally I’d rate 1 or 2 stars but the one waitress who was on shift was working super hard and she didn’t charge us for the lamb, giving her a pick of whatever else she wanted from the menu. She even boxed up my burger and brought me out a totally fresh platter.
Atmosphere was alright, definitely a lot less of a view when you come at night. They seemed to be having trouble with the music bc the speakers kept clicking occasionally.
Overall, lots to improve on and they were definitely having a bad night - but we only paid 35 bucks for almost 100 worth of food. Can’t give a glowing recommendation but we’ll give it another shot soon, then I may update this review.
Also my girlfriend had to tell me the place is One Piece themed. It’s a nice touch.

I was at the Baratie restaurant for New Years Eve supper with 5 of my friends. My friend booked the table a week prior asking for a window seat. when we got there and was greeted by the host, we were informed then that we had to pay up front $75 per person and that we would be limited to only two options for the starter and main and 3 choices for dessert. plus we were put on the back row(so no windw seat) We were shocked to say the least..there was no mention of this when placing the booking. As for the dinner; first course, I had the soup which was just ok, 2nd course I had the steak. Steak was cooked properly but the rest of the dish wasn't great only a small dollop of mashed potato and a bigger portion of rice with a couple unseasoned vegetables. The dessert was the most disappointing. I had the creme brulée ( which I was super excited for as its my favorite dessert)...It was the worst one I've ever had! it was in the smallest ramkin I've ver seen and it was ice cold! Just terrible! I certainly won't be back.

This restaurant was quite the find! We loved the atmosphere as it overlooked the reversing falls which were lit up at night. The menu has a One Piece anime vibe to it with such things as Luffy's Smash Burger, etc. The server was extremely polite and, since we visited in the off season, it wasn't very busy. They also have a gift shop with lots of fun items. My only suggestion is to expand on the One Piece theme beyond the menu, perhaps with items in the gift shop or some decorations but I understand there might be issues with the rights.

Heard so much about this restaurant so tried it for a birthday. Totally disappointed. Food was mediocre, really slow service, just one or two workers. Won’t be going back.
Was very nice place out of the ordinary

Dinner was delicious! We had the AYCE Barbecue and everything was fantastic. Our server, Ola, was super attentive and made the evening fun. He is also a talented bartender -the drinks were lovely. It was better than I had hoped for when I made the reservation.
And the view was incredible.

We had a delightful meal last evening! We had not planned on eating at the restaurant, but walked in to ask questions about the reversing falls. The owner was great and gave us some information. It was about time for dinner and with the big window views of the falls, we decided to stay. Christian, our waiter, was the best! He was very engaging, spoke about some of the history of St. Johns, the restaurant, and the Bridge across the falls. I had the falafel meal and it was very good. The salad was fresh, light, and crisp. A ate all the hummus, falafel, and rice and did not leave a drop. The pita bread could have been softer and fresher, but was fine. We also had a glass of wine, coffee, and dessert, too. We were so glad we stopped and ate there. It was a fun evening and the staff couldn't have been nicer. We would definitely eat there again but sadly live quite far away - Alaska and Maine. Again, thanks to the staff for a memorable evening!

Delightful welcome by the propieter when we stepped in to inquire where to view the reverse falls. He was friendly and forthcoming about the falls. It was a chilly night so we decided to have a bite to eat. The restaurant overlooks the falls and we wanted to see them adjust to the tides. Christian was our friendly waiter. We noticed his friendliness with other customers, chatting them up on their travels. I ordered crab cakes and a simple green salad…and a delightful glass of Chardonnay. My friend ordered the felafel plate and a red wine, and declared both delicious. What I especially liked was the vibe. The proprietor’s family even came in for about an hour to visit. Fresh, unpretentious, friendly, even a little quirky. Not corporatized at all. In this day and age, that’s refreshing.
