It's been a while since I was there last. They've certainly gone downhill. The quality was not good at all. First, the bread (white) was dry and tough. Then I asked for honey mustard sauce. Whatever he put on it was hot and spicy. I had to scrape what I could off it. Needless to say, I won't go back in a hurry. I used to love Subway. Everything was always so fresh. Sadly, not today.
This was Subway #19010-0 in Saint John,NB.

I should add that this was at 6 pm, and there were no other customers in the store.

Went in to get breakfast. Worker was prepping bread to go into the oven and said he’ll be a second. After he started prepping the fifth pan without serving me, I realized my business wasn’t a priority to him so I walked out. Perhaps prepping should start before opening so employees are ready to prioritize customers.

Staff give you death stares when you walk in, they will usually hide in the back peaking their heads out in hopes you leave but then they eventually give up and take your order… then they take their sweet time with it and are super rude. Skip is even worse they take an hour plus to make a sandwich?? Corporate needs to look into this location as there’s clearly a lot of other issues here

whatever young lady answered the phone on february 28th 2025 at around 2:10pm needs to get her attitude in check. i had called the store nearly 10 times and was hung up on without being spoke to, until she finally answered and then got mad at me for calling so many times while she had customers. when i explained i needed to cancel a mobile order, she told me that’s too bad because only she can do it and she had already made the food. and then lied and said it was already made by the time she got the first call. which can’t be true unless she made my 2 foot long sandwiches in 10 seconds, while apparently had other customers. this woman is doing too much for her minimum wage fast food job. lol

This subway location has been the most consistent in the city, but today I got a sub and it was supposed to be toasted but was barely room temperature and all the sauce squeezed out when they folded the sub. Not impressed at all!

Ordered a chicken rancher sub a foot long pretzel and churro. The sandwich was delicious. The churro was so hard to bite through it felt like it was sitting out for a few days. The pretzel was the same way. It was cold and hard to chew. Won’t be going back anytime soon

A group of teenagers mostly boys with 1 girl previously dine it,threw a filled drinking cup at my car while I was inside waiting for a friend from work. I reported to the staff at the counter to review the cctv.

I order take-out at the counter all the time. Awesome staff and yummy food!

Vegetarian options: You can get a variety of subs with no meat on them.

Dietary restrictions: If you let the staff know in advance it is very easy to order with allergies.

Parking: There's about 20 spots in a non-busy location.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessibility buttons, wheelchair accessible parking and wheelchair accessible seating.

Today September 21 /24 I entered and ordered a 12 inch ham sub with cucumber,tomatoe , lettuce and extra pickle . She placed 6 pickles on my sub and I asked if I could have extra for the pickles . She told me she can’t do extra as they follow a formula. I said that’s okay just charge me for the extra pickles . She then informed me she also can’t do that as again they have a formula and don’t charge for extra. I said okay , can you charge for a 6 inch sub but keep your sub and just give me the extra pickle ?

She then tells me well that only gets you 3 extra pickles . So I said you’re charging me 8 extra dollars for 3 pickles ? She said yup that’s our formula ! I then told them to keep their sub . Ridiculous that each sub is only allowed 3 pickles and no option if you want 6 pickles . The lady ( 35- 40) thought it was quite funny with her smirky attitude . There were 4 other people in there and they could not believe you aren’t allowed to ask for extra anything even if you want to pay for it . Never in my life have I ever had customer service like this one . She had an attitude from the start and shouldn’t be working with people . And subway SHAME on you to not allow your subs more then 3 picked per sub . My family will never purchase again and we will take our business elsewhere

They give you 6 oz of roasted chicken on your sub, including the spoon. I even called the guy out because the scale said 0.00, and then he weighed my chicken. I asked what the spoon weighed, which was 4 oz.

Awful just awful. First time back since February. My wife and i ordered steak subs both were just dripping in grease. We decided today to give them another try same thing. Also it was supposed to be double meat and cheese it looks to me like shrinkflation has hit subway hard. To summarize if you want a greasy disgusting sub with very little filling go here you won't be disappointed.
