We had a lovely and delicious experience at Suwanna last night. The Thai appetizers and 4 mains that we had were hot and so tasty. Kim, our server, was very attentive and we couldn't have asked for more. Oh yes, she provided an amazing piece of chocolate cheesecake for our birthday girl. We thought that we were too full for dessert but luckily she shared it.
Wandered in with our party of four at 6:30. Place was not very busy and a reservation was not required. The positives, our waitress was lovely. Friendly and professional. The decor is beautiful and the tables far enough from each other to hear yourself talk. Good cocktail menu and they seemed popular with the tables around us. The negatives, the food is mid at best. Pad Thai is tasteless (asked for chiles and was charged). The scallops in the hot bamboo shoot dish were scarce...
We were a table of 16 and our server Chris was amazing. He checked on us often to make sure we were not in need of anything . The food was very good and the restaurant was very clean. We will definitely return.
