Take sushi is my go to sushi place in Saint John. Me and my boyfriend have gone once every month for the past 4 or 5 months. The food is absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is amazing, and the staff there are extremely kind. I absolutely enjoy going to Take sushi each month I go. I'd even say I love it more and more with each month I go.

Almost perfect, except when we gave a specific instruction to the waiter not to mix the sauce with the chicken, it didnt happen. But everything was good and tasty. Prices are also reasonable.

Great place to get some good sushi for a good price! Although I’ve been to places with nicer atmospheres for sure, that isn’t what mattered, I’m there for food and they did not disappoint! I highly suggest the takoyaki and eel maki.

Best sushi in the city and surrounding area, hands down! We regularly travel from outside SJ to pick it up. Never even consider going anywhere else. Food is always fresh and delicious and portions incredibly generous. Well worth the price!

Sushi was excellent freshly made. I had stir fried udon noodles with chicken, loaded with vegetables and chicken but too salty for my taste. The soy sauce also tasted very high on salt. ( We use little salt in our dishes at home). They provided tasty complementary appetizers including sweet potato noodles, which were a first for me and delicious as well. Service was provided by one of the owners. friendly, attentive and professional. The physical space is dimly lit and could use an upgrade, along with the furniture.

Love this place me and my family go all the time, first date with my boyfriend! Sushi is always fresh and in large portions, service is great from both the usual lady and man, my favorite restaurant! Always gets my order right and when I ask for something without (side) always offered a substitute or more of something else!

Ta-Ke Sushi was very knowledgeable when I was ordering: the full veggie sushi platter could not be made vegan and thus 2 of the 5 veggie rolls are not inherently vegan.
Also the yam/avo roll is definitely not as nice without the batter and deepfry.
Overall it was fresh, but a tad on the underwhelming side.
Ordering just my 3 rolls, I was surprised when they turned it into a meal with some nice sides, so it was a pleasant meal.
