This is a cute sushi place in uptown. Great selection of rolls, but also other Asian foods like noodles and hot plates. The sushi tasted fantastic. The service was excellent. My husband and I ordered tempura to start, and three maki rolls to share. We were pleasantly surprised to get some miso soup, glass noodle, sprouts, and dumplings as a little extra starter too. We got our freshly fried tempura with varying veggies and shrimp pieces perfectly cooked. The rolls were tasty and plenty for the two of us. I can't wait to try more out another time!

One of the worst service I ever had to experience in a sit down restaurant. The server was absolutely terrible and completely rushed us during dinner. Only had the opportunity to eat our food within 10 minutes from them serving the items. Same thing happened to two other tables that night. It such a waste because the food was actually good. I will never ever come back to this restaurant again and will always make it a point to not recommend

As we just moved here from the west coast of Vancouver, we are used to experiencing great sushi, and we were pleasantly surprised to find Ta-Ke Sushi in uptown Saint John! It's not often that you come across excellent sushi in this area, but Ta-Ke definitely exceeded our expectations.
The food is incredibly fresh and delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. The prices are fair, making it easy to enjoy a meal without breaking the bank. Glen, the operator, is super friendly and hands-on, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant.
We were so impressed that Ta-Ke Sushi will now be our go-to spot for sushi whenever we're in the area. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic sushi experience in Saint John!
