Wonderful food and ambience! Nov 2025 • Couples I chose the place for my birthday meal because I have Celiac disease and both the options and safety reviews were excellent. We loved the artwork, the cozy wood and brick motif, the food and the service. Erin went out of her way to make us feel welcome and paid careful attention to our every want and need. The fish I had was excellent. I'm not a big vegetable fan but these were really tasty. Even the broccoli was good! I hadn't checked the prices so the bill was a pleasant surprise. It was very good value for the money. It's our new uptown favourite.

Steak sandwich was cooked as ordered (rare), signature fries were tasty, and the seafood chowder was excellent. Staff was super, and food arrived with minimal wait.

I ordered a lobster roll. The menu listed a cold lobster roll with mayo. I asked for no mayo but with melted butter (Maine style). It was perfect. To my surprise you get 2 lobster rolls and huge portion of seasoned fries. Everything was delicious. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Great lunch experience. Would go again and recommend.

Our group of 8 thought this was our best meal of the trip! The seafood chowder is very unique and delicious ! The lobster roll was also quite good! I had an original beer flight and enjoyed each one of them. Highly recommend!

Always such a great place to eat. Also was nice to have a QR code to scan for vegan and gluten free options for people in our party. Kudos!

Value to price....Not impressed. It has been a long time since I have rated a restaurant this low.

Graham House is one of my favourite places to eat when in Saint John. However this last trip did not meet my expectations. Even though we had a reservation, the table we were seated at was poor and we had to ask to be moved. Service was slow although they weren't that busy. The food was excellent and the beer was fantastic but we failed to receive the appetizers we ordered. Will still recommend but was disappointed this visit.

We had an amazing experience. Everything was perfect and made our occasional a special event.

The food & service was phenomenal. Everything came out fast. My Mac & Cheese with Lobster came out piping hot. The Lobster Roll was essentially a (still delicious) lobster “salad” in the manner of tuna salad. Medium and small pieces of lobster with a mild mayo and finely chopped dill. Very tasty. 😋 over all it was good experience.

Our server Mary Frances was very friendly and attentive. The food and Canadian wine was tasty.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Gahan House. We were travelling with our grandson who is experiencing the East Coast for the first time. He ordered the lobster roll and really enjoyed it!! We ordered the shrimp skewers to share. Great start, the combination of flavours was marvellous. I ordered the seafood chowder and was not disappointed! It was full of delicious seafood including fresh clams. I loves the soup base as it was full of flavour and not starchy!! No thickening agent used here! My husband ordered the fish cakes because his mother used to make them and he wanted to see if the flavours came close to hers! They did!! The service was lovely and the vibe of the restaurant was very laid back and easy. The only problem was that the patio was on a very busy street with many motorcycles going by and making lots of noise. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We were not able to get the food since the kitchen had a wait of 1h30. However the waitress was nice enough to advise us.

Service excellent. Ils ont eu des retards en cuisine à cause d'un groupe, mais la serveuse a fait en sorte que l'expérience soit très bonne quand même Merci et je recommande

Terrific service!!! The food was just perfect and a great menu. Their beet salad was incredible. We had the calamari for starters as it was so tender and lightly battered. Fish and chips were 10/10 and the mini donuts are a must! Super selction of craft beer.

We had a good time celebrating our daughter's birthday at Gahan House. She wanted to have oysters. It was her second time, and better then the first. The oysters were nice and fat, fresh and tasty. The menu is quite limited, but they are pretty good at making the items. The house fries are exceptionel, but this time I opted for the beet salad as side for the steak, and it didn't disappoint. The steak was well prepared, although made from a cheaper cut. Their lobster rolls were also above average. And shoutout to the staff, our water glasses were never empty, we didn't have to wait to order another round of oysters, or desert, or for the cheque. Empty plates disappeared, food arrived fast. They paid attention to us. Overall it ended up being on the expensive side - oysters are not cheap. But we all left happy and well fed.
