I love the sandwichs here. But I was very despoint with the mac salad teast and size for the price I paid. if I pay 7 plus the tax I would think I was getting a Fair size but it was an 8 oz for the price.

I eat here about once every 1-2 weeks and the food is decent but the service is worst out of all the SJ restaurants/ cafes I’ve ever been to. Usually have to repeat my order 2-3 times to different workers before they manage to get it right. Very poor customer service/ stiff attitude as if it’s a huge inconvenience that I’ve ordered something, which I know is a lot to ask…at a literal cafe 😅

So when in the area I loved to stop here for lunch. However, during my last visit during a non peak time period I found the staff to be slightly disinterested in serving me than in the conversation they were having in the kitchen. Sadly that day the Mac n cheese was underwhelming and was below my previous experiences. It isn't a great experience when you feel like your visit is an inconvenience to the staff.

I am never disappointed here! Tried the tomato soup today and it was delicious. Good is always fresh. My go to is chicken club with maple chili bacon. Be sure to check it out!

I had the Philly steak sandwich and it was fantastic! Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and so satisfying. I also grabbed a piece of lemon loaf, and wow, it was so good. Moist, tangy, and just sweet enough. I’ll definitely be back!

The owner of the store is highly communicative and responsive—even if you have a question at midnight, they’ll reply. That level of service truly stood out to me.
The food was well-packaged and ready before I arrived. Initially, I had planned to buy drinks elsewhere, but I was so impressed with the service that I decided to purchase them here instead.
This was a 10/10 experience, and I’m more than happy to support a local business. Highly recommended!

I used to love their food but things have really gone downhill in the last year. My last experience was months ago and I haven't had anything until today. My sandwich had a short, dark hair in it. This is definitely not mine. I'm done wasting hard earned money on this place.

The food is fresh, made to order and reasonably priced. sandwiches come with potato chips and the salads are generous. Personally, I wouldn’t bother with the macaroni salad as the portion is quite small for the price. The lemonade is very tasty. For my own taste, I would split it in thirds and add club soda for a very tasty spritzer. adding on extras can make things a little spendy. We were $45 for two people for lunch.
