Mapo Tofu, Szechuan Chicken, and Fried Rice with Cantonese Sausage. Can’t go wrong with any of them! Skip the places offering “Canadian Chinese,” and treat yourself to the authentic flavours at Wok In!

Absolutely adorable little restaurant. We got the steamed rice dumplings, combo 3 and a combo 5, and both were delicious. The portions were perfect while dining-in, we even took some home.
The noodles in the combo 3 were a little dry, but other than that tasted fantastic.
The service was fast (we were the only ones in there), and it felt like we had traveled for authentic food.
They also have a wall at the back with notes, drawings and origami from previous customers, and I think that was precious.
Highly recommend and will be going back!

Come to Wok In for authentic, delicious Chinese food. My husband and I came in for dinner. We started with rice rolls and had heung so chicken and braised eggplant. Everything was flavorful and made hot and fresh. We will be coming here again!

The environment is very warm, the taste is very Chinese restaurant-like, authentic, and the price is very suitable. Highly recommended

The price exceeds the quality of the food, its quantity and qualitative composition: the noodles were too greasy (yes, the noodles were fried, I know, but in this case there was too much fat), there was frankly little meat and vegetables, the sausages apparently dried out in the refrigerator and absorbed the unpleasant taste of various products. The broth in the soup was like simple salt water. In short, we ate our fill, but did not enjoy it (pieces of sausage with a foreign taste "made the evening"). Dirty plates were on our plates for a long time and no one cleaned them up for a long time. We will not come here again. It is not worth it.

Terrible. The combo #5 had soggy tofu and was tasteless rather than spicy. No redeeming features to this meal. The chicken fried rice tasted fishey. The 2 items were over $40. Steer clear of this over priced place.

I recently got some take out from Wok In, in west side, Saint John and was extremely disappointed with the experience. Despite arriving well before other patrons, our order took longer than those who arrived after us.

When the meal finally arrived, it was underwhelming to say the least. The portion size was shockingly small, and the quality of the food was mediocre at best. I ordered a dish that was supposed to feature sausage, but the slices were so thin you could almost see through them, which left the meal lacking in substance. For the price we paid, I expected far better. Unfortunately, the food was overpriced and failed to deliver in both taste and quantity.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend Wok In based on my experience. There has to be better options in Saint John that offer good value for money, better portions, and a higher standard of service. I give it 👎👎👎👎👎

What a disappointment. We got two combo rice orders for a total of $45. First, they mixed up the order, and we had to watch people who ordered after us get their food before we did. Once they realized their mistake, they rushed our order, resulting in lumps of cold rice that weren't fried properly.

To make matters worse, the sausage that was supposed to be included was practically nonexistent. There were only two thin, transparent slices of the cheapest wiener I’ve ever seen. The portion of rice was so small, and the overall amount of food was so little that I had to go somewhere else to get more food.

To top it off, there wasn't even the usual soy sauce that's supposed to be included, so I had to go out and buy some. After the order was ready and just sitting on the table, waiting to be bagged, the helper/cashier decided to finish some paperwork before bagging our food.

This was the worst $45 I’ve ever spent, especially considering it was just fried rice. Not worth the cost at all.

A family-run business, very clean place, authentic food with carefully chosen ingredients! Highly recommend: Mapo Tofu, sweet sour ribs (kids love both), also the veggie dumplings were very tasty 😋. Cooked with love. I like the fresh, delicious vegetables here.
