I will endeavour to give the food another try and update my rating to 5 stars if warranted. I truly appreciate the attention to customer feedback by this location. It is very much appreciated.I was really curious about this restaurant and decided to give it a try. I ordered Combo 2 on Skip, which included rice noodles with Cantonese sausage, a sticky rice dumpling, and crispy gyoza. Unfortunately, the quality of food I received didn’t live up to my expectations. The spice on the rice noodles wasn’t spread evenly throughout. This led to some overly spicy bites and some bites that didn’t have as much flavour. My biggest issue, however, was with the sticky rice dumpling I received. It was very beautifully wrapped and the first bite I had was delicious! Unfortunately, about halfway through, the rice became very hard and rubbery (almost like it dried out). I’ve never had a rice dumpling before, so I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be rubbery, or soft like the first bite I had. Based on the amount I spent and the quality of food I received, I can’t say I’d ever order from here again.

I was just in the area for work, this is good stuff, outside plaza looks like a hole in the wall, but it's a very nice atmosphere inside, nice decor, great food, and great service. Very friendly staff!

What a gem! A delightful and delicious find in Saint John. It may look humble from the outside but it has a very relaxing and tasteful interior and really delicious, authentic Cantonese cuisine. We had the eggplant & pork and the mapo tofu and both were fantastic. Highly recommend.

What a pleasant surprise. Traveling through St. John on our way back to Maine and found this little restaurant tucked between two smoke shops! Don’t let the location deter you, the food was excellent. Mapo Dofu is a favorite of mine and I alway order it when I can. The Sichuan peppers were perfect-just the right amount so that the flavors were clear and not overwhelming. Order the premium tea-it is jasmine and full of flavor. The garlic broccoli was fresh and had just the right amount of crunch - slices of garlic and not too greasy or salty. The pan fried noodles with sausage were also very good. The staff were friendly, the interior was clean and comfortable. We liked this place so much that we ordered takeout for our trip home.Parking: Empty lot next to restaurant was helpful for our large truck and RV.
