Great way to kill time on a shore day at St John, NB. They have a cruise special for $25 pp incl a drink and axe throwing lesson. The host is super friendly and so is their dog Barley. They are the highlight of our day!!

Awesome axe house. Friendly staff with beautiful decor. 14 beers on tap. Tough to find a better place for fun. They even have a friendly axe-dog.
Excellent time here last night! Staff was knowledgeable, careful about safety but let us have fun. Reasonably priced.

I definitely had a great time here with friends. Fun place to be and flex your energy by throwing axe ? in order to hit the Bulls eye in a safe and secure environment with pleasant staff members to put you throw when faced with difficulty.

What a great experience we had here. Axe throwing has quickly become my favorite new activity. Anyone on a visiting cruise ship or simply from the area should make plans to pay a visit here. And if you're lucky you'll get to meet Barley.
Hubby and I enjoyed our beers (lots of variety!) and we got an axe throwing lesson! Now I understand how so many people have those funny videos of missing the target - there's a little bit of technique required! So much fun once you get the hang of it. Jordan was super friendly and helpful. There's also a sweet pup in case you want a distraction from drinking or scoring your axe throwing!

We had an absolute blast at Woodchuck Axe Throwing pub in uptown Saint John, NB! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendly service that made me feel right at home. The decor is fantastic and adds to the fun and vibrant atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for a night out with friends.
One of the best parts is that you can order drinks and food while you throw axes, which really enhances the experience! The menu has some great options to keep you fueled up for the fun ahead.
The axe throwing itself is priced at $23 per person per hour, which is totally worth it. It's the perfect way to let off some steam and channel your inner lumberjack! ? The staff is also super helpful, providing tips and guidance to ensure everyone has a great time.
Overall, Woodchuck Axe Throwing is a must-visit if you're looking for a unique and entertaining night out. I can't wait to go back!

We heard it was a dog friendly place so we came for drinks with our dog and tried the food. We wanted to try axe throwing but our dog seemed tired and didn't like the noise so much. The local beer selection was great. When we ordered the food we were informed they didn't have a kitchen but were ordering from a place close-by, at first we were hesitant but the food arrived fast, was still pretty hot and tasted really good. The staff was nice and friendly. Would love to come back and try my hand at some axe throwing.

Great draft list, well run bar and knowledgeable, friendly staff. League night is organized, safe and a great time. Lane bookings are a great way to spend a few hours, whether you get the hang of throwing or not.

This was a port stop on our cruise ship. My son (9 years old) had been saying how he had wanted to go ax throwing. I didn’t think that it would be possible because of his age/liability. But we saw the signs say that it was family friendly. The guys at this bar/ax throwing place were so friendly and showed us how to throw. Very reasonable prices and super fun!
