A flash from the past diner serving good food for a good price. Nothing fancy, just some basic well done dishes that I would come back for. Not much in the way for vegetarians except for some grilled cheese and fries. The home made apple pie was stunning however! ?

Very good varied cuisine (like at home and +varied and comforting menu and yes there is burger and fries but also good lunch (corned beef hash yum!) all day and fish), good friendly atmosphere, original vintage look. The lady owner serves us like a pro! Very good price. :)

This is a classic road side dinner experience. Family owned off the beaten path of the main Trans Canada Highway. Really good food, lots of locals. It is a shame there aren’t more of these left. Glad we stopped in!!
First time here and it was a nice meal . I had corn chowder that I had not had in years . Nice fall comfort food . The roll that came with it was nice and fresh and home made . Husband had fresh cut fries and club sandwich which he said was best he had with everything nice and fresh . The owners work

Ordered our food, got it after a good 30 mins. That was fine. Its a small restaurant I understand waiting. What I can't understand is getting the wrong order, then having to wait to advise the server, she didn't come check on us until we were all done, the whole table was done. And her arguing with me. I mentioned it again after getting the same food back, cold may I add cause its been 45 or so mins since I got the plate of food. Then mentioning it again when I go to pay, cause I'm not paying for something I did not eat. And getting argued with, again. Do not recommend at all.

4 of us ate at this restaurant for lunch. The service was terrible, not that it took a long time to get our order but the server sure had a bee in her bonnet that day. She was extremely cranky from beginning to end. It all came to a head when she brought my order which was supposed to be a turkey dinner but instead she brought me a hot turkey sandwich. I said to her I ordered a dinner to which she replied emphatically, “ you DID NOT”! Umm yes I did because I eat gluten free and would never have ordered a turkey sandwich with 2 slices of white bread. She did not offer to bring me the correct order. I scraped the turkey off the bread and ate what I could. ?
