Salisbury Big Stop Restaurant

During our drive from. Halifax to Saint John we stopped at your Silver Fox restaurant for a quick supper. Quick it was!! Luanne was our server who was very kind, fast but very friendly. She took our drink order and came back with them, took our order...(my husband and I took turns going to the washroom quickly, they were very clean) and then our food came. It was hot and exactly as we ordered. soooo good! I asked for the bill explaining that we had to get back on the road. She was right back with it. When I was heading to the washroom a young man cleaning tables smiled at me and said hello. He was very friendly. While I was eating I observed him clearing tables and thoroughly wiping them and everything on it down . For such a young man he was doing a great job. I gave him a little tip on my way out and let him know he was doing a great job. I found out his name was Dax. We will stop here more often. the food and service are great!!

I always love getting the turkey and dressing poutine every Christmas time. Was very disappointed this year. Cut up breaded turkey was not great. The dressing was wonderful though. Used to get it with just turkey on it not breaded which was a lot better.

We stopped in for a.quick bite.
My husband had the beef and barley soup, which he said was very good.

I didn't want meat or fried food, which left me with little to choose from. I had a garden salad. I was.disappointed.
For $9.99, lettuce, 2 small slices of tomatoe, a tiny bit of shredded carrot and cucumber, I felt it could have been a little more interesting. Also, a roll with it would have been nice.

Service was quick and the staff very efficient and friendly.

Shower was clean but no hot water,,Food was good as always but I find the fish n chips are getting small for the price...

Best big stop around. Washrooms are always clean and tidy. Lots of selection for foods, there’s a restaurant attached as well as sandwhiches and fruits sold inside for quick grab and go food. They also make cookies and loafs fresh daily which are yummy.

Worst shower experience, no hot water. When I asked, she said there are 6 showers busy all day and kitchen use hot water, so water is not hot.. stupid answer. I bought packed food, which was tottteb before the expiry date. Plz don’t waste your hard earned money. If this was the case in US truck stop, they will refund the money.. worst worst experience.

I really liked this stop. The food was really great and the staff was plentiful and friendly. Having all the homemade treats In the common area was amazing. We have a dog and ate outside on the return trip ( yes we made a point to make this our stop on the way back) the outdoor seating had a nice view and solar powered chargers for devices. There was an ice cream shop that was closed for the season but I’m sure it’s worth a try during the summer. Highly recommend and like all big stops. Very clean washrooms.

Good, relative fast food for a sit down restaurant, but a bit expensive for truck stop style food. Good quality and large portion size. Bathrooms large and clean.

We had a group of 11 ladies and stopped at the Siler Fox for our supper. Bryan was our server, he was amazing! Fast, efficient and friendly! The food was hot and delicious! Thank you
