Skip the middle man, throw money directly into garbage. I ordered take out. they got it wrong. Disappointed with ALL items. I called to complain and wasn't offered any compensation. complete waste of time and money.

Called this morning to verify they had the buffet on Friday noon was told they did .
some things weren’t on the buffet asked why ? Was told some things were only on supper buffet !!
Asked where did it say that some foods were not on the buffet at lunch !! No where does it say that on the menu or Facebook .
I was very disappointed if I’m paying 25 for the buffet I expect it to be the same at lunch as well as supper 😖😖

They just reopened this week and I ordered a beef Pad Thai for take out. It was great until I took about three bites where I crunched on eggshells bits! So I called them about it and the staff who answered basically replied … oh the cook must have missed it by accident. Ok but I was a third into my meal and asked if they can replace it or get a refund. He replied that’s ok to eat eggshells or to just throw out the eggshells!!! He also said the owner would tell me to do the same! I hung up in frustration!

I had a really delicious tofu curry that was super flavourful. Many of the dishes you need to specify no fish sauce. Options aren't labelled so you do need to ask staff to know what can be vegan.

A few minutes later, he called me back to say I’d have to pay again because they “don’t do replacements or refunds.” He also told me he confirms every order and basically blamed me for the mistake. I understand that things can get mixed up—chow mein and lo mein do sound similar—but the way he handled it felt rude and dismissive.
As someone who’s worked in restaurants for years, I was really surprised by the lack of basic customer service. A simple fix turned into an unpleasant experience.

Absolutely loved the curry tofu and vegetables that I ordered for takeout. So fresh and delicious. They offer several things on their menu that can be made vegan. Takeout didn’t take long either!

Ate at this restaurant last night, not my first visit. We got there near the beginning of the buffet service and the food was hot and was very tasty. The restaurant is run like a tight ship and all of the employees were friendly. We’ll definitely be going back here again. Even though I live in Moncton, it’s worth the drive to Shediac to eat at Golden Era!
