Whenever we're in Shediac visiting family, we always make sure to stop by Leger Bakery—usually more than once! Whether it's for sweet treats or fresh bread, everything is always top notch. Whatever you pick up, you won’t be disappointed.

Get there early or you will miss the best options!!! Excellent pizza, and dough to make your own. Butter tarts were awesome! Lots of fresh bread as well as take home frozen foods like lasagna, soups and meat pies. Great prions if coming from the campgrounds as portions are perfect for small RV fridges. Within walking distance of South Cove campground and main town of Shediac. Well worth it!!! Friendly staff and owner on site.

Stopped in here on a lark after lunch. I am so happy I did! The bread is magical, the coconut pie is delicious, but the absolute showstopper was the Nanaimo bar! I hadn’t bought one in years because they never tasted like I remembered from my childhood. But THIS one was exactly like my Nan used to make! I’m craving another one!

Most everything they make is great. I find the muffins super small for $7.25 for 6, these muffins are tiny. I can get low fat and low sugar ones at another bakery for 5$ I do recommend their date squares and hello dolly's are great. Wish they would make some low sugar options.

We popped in for some fresh baked goods but were a little disappointed. We purchased muffins and a loaf of multi-grain bread. The muffins tasted like a sweet pasty cake mix and the loaf of bread was dry. It was good for toast but too dry to make fresh sandwiches.

Just purchased there for the first time, it will also be the last. I would suggest firstly for the to purchase proper bakery boxes. Stacking the squares one on top of the other in a fast food take out container so they were all stuck together is not the way to do business. Spend the extra 5 cents and buy the proper box. Difficult to tell how any one thing tastes when there are parts of 2 others stuck to them.
