Stopped by to try a Shediac lobster roll. The roll was pretty good and the fries were fresh. Service wasn't great, the server seemed distracted with a friend that came in.

Music was good, although a bit loud for my taste. Gluten-free options are greatly limited and not up to date with their website.

Birthday celebration, first time visiting. Expected more, kind of diner vibe with curtains blocking kitchen view. One meal was just plain bad, Alfredo sauce was off and yellow and smelled like dirty socks. Rest of the meals (7 total) were okay but nothing to warrant five stars. Had the seafood platter or should say plate, was a little shy on seafood content. Our server was by himself that night but was super good, attentive and fast.

The management should be ashamed! What a terrible way to run a business & treat staff
I've been there twice for lunch in the past month at lunch time.
Each time their was 1 server & 1 cook
Whoever is in charge of staffing..do better!

Nice lobster roll but made only by claws; normally the tail is supposed to be there too ; who knows what is the right parts that should go into the roll. Which most of the time is a hotdog bum and not a
roll.

Decided to grab some seafood, so drove to Shediac. Seen a nice restaurant, roadside tables, etc.
Ordered a Beer, all good.
Decided on the Seafood platter, expecting a great platter of seafood. It came, 90% fries. The 5-6 scallops were very good. But I got 1, Yes 1 Shrimp, and less than 1/2 of a pc of fish.
Over $50 later( yes I stilled tipped)
My seafood craving was far from. Satisfied

Well we didn’t eat there, so I shouldn’t be eating the food. But the reasons we didnt eat there deserves a 1 star. Walked in to an empty restaurant, reeked of stale beer. Asked to be seated outside, 8 of the 8 empty tables were dirty. Glasses and bottles on them, at 3 pm. Not an inviting atmosphere. Server was NOT busy. And seemed bothered we wanted to eat there at all.

Searched up place to eat in Shediac and La Coast restaurant came up with high rating.
Nice place for a family lunch with 3 kids and 2 adults. The PEI mussels were tender and flavorful, and the scallops dish was delicious. The lobster club sandwich was a bit heavy on bread and light on lobster but still satisfying. Friendly service, fair portions, and plenty of options for both kids and adults.

Ended up going there after being turned around at another location. Was a little upset at first but I should probably be thankful for the other place being bad because La Coast turned out to be amazing! I had the La Coast burger which was honestly one of the best hamburgers I've ever had. My girlfriend had the fish tacos which were also beyond delicious! Definitely worth trying this place and would 100% go back to try other things.
Also bonus plus for us, dogs are welcome on the terrasse outside! Friendly staff.. just a great place across the board!
