Love this place. Location and staff are wonderful. Food is great and generous portions. I would love to see more non fried options of seafood available.

44 dollars for a bowl of seafood chowder ???
22 dollars for a cup of seafood chowder ???

Salmon and Rice Bowl - boring ! No flavour.

Lobster Roll mediocre.
People are paying top dollar, put some meat in it. I have travelled around and had amazing lobster rolls. This isn’t even on my top 5. I’d rather wait and go to PEI and wait for Richard’s or drive to Maine.

When I leave a restaurant still hungry after a small lobster roll and a cup of chowder I don’t rate high.

If you think my review is wrong go buy a it and tell me if your hungry and broke afterwards.

Wonderful place, beautiful views in the restaurant and the best fish & chips meal! We wanted to try the chowder but it was sold out. Worth to stop by and try it out if you are in Shediac and love seafood .

The spot is super nice, it is vacations ambiance. The waiting time to be seated was a bit long.

This has to be one of the best if not the best sea food restaurant in New Brunswick. We got the fried clams platter and the sandbar sea food deluxe, both were phenomenal. We have been here twice and will definitely be coming again.

We came for an early dinner on a long weekend. We were lucky to go early because when we left around supper time the lineup was long. Service was great. Very accommodating. We had a 5-year-old. The seafood platter was delicious. Market price at the time with $66. Not a big deal but I do wish they had some draft beer, specifically local, the beer they had was a decent selection but all in cans. Everyone enjoy their meal and I would definitely go back.

You cannot beat the location or vibes here and the lobster roll was excellent. The service was fantastic as well.

This place has a great view and the staff is very welcoming. Taking a drink is fine.
The food is totally overpriced. 30$ for a hot dog with almost nothing in it (2 spoons of lobster) and a few fries? That's a scam, don't eat there !

The Sandbar is hands down one of the best spots for seafood! The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. What really sets this place apart is the patio — the view is absolutely beautiful, the kind of setting that makes you want to stay for hours. Service was friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Whether you’re going for a casual meal or a special night out, The Sandbar delivers both amazing food and an unbeatable atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Why was the minimum tip 18% and not 15?
Food is OK, not worth 100$ for 2 ppl. specially not with them Costco fries.

Excellent location with a fishing spot nearby.
