I came by when I was in Shediac yesterday and this restaurant caught my eye. The food was really good, the portions are big, great value. The staff were super friendly and welcoming too :)

Excellent food and service!! ✅♥️

I had the absolute honour of introducing my new Filipino friends to SARAP in Shediac. They were very excited, especially when finding out the staff spoke in the dialect they knew from their home island.

For food, I went with the Pork Adobo combo meal with a halo-halo for dessert. I was raised in Winnipeg and went to school with quite a few Filipinos, so enjoying this delicious food was really lovely and nostalgic for me. The Adobo was super fresh, easy to eat with my choice of fried rice (which was also very much great on its own btw, I know top tier fried rice when I see it haha). Flavours are well balanced, nothing was overly salty or dry. Heck, even the lumpia (spring rolls were good). No complaints at all!

The halo-halo was a real treat. A blend of tasty fruits in shaved ice that was equally refreshing as it was fun to scoop at some ingredients. To the uninformed, it eats somewhat like a DQ Blizzard but is wayyyy better. The red spoons reminded me of that.

Honestly, I am very pleased with my time at SARAP and would not mind coming back to check out more of their menu. It's places like these that make me think Shediac might just be revered as the Filipino capital of New Brunswick 😋

10/10 would recommend!!

The food was truly the best filipino restaurant that I have had so far in Canada. I have had filipino food in New Brunswick and Ontario. The atmosphere and the personable personnel makes it worth driving 20 minutes from Moncton!

Stopped by on the way through and had to get the crab Rangoon, oh my goodness they were phenomenal! The staff were beyond helpful, lovely and answered all my questions (there were a few lol) to top it all off, they took me over to the market next door to get me my dessert, Leche Flan! Will definitely be back!! Thank you so much!!

The wonton soup and spring rolls are absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced for a lunch option. The staff were friendly and took the time to chat and offer suggestions on how they enjoy their soup. Can’t wait to return :)

Barbeque is my favourite as it is soft and purely just meat. And the sauce was nothing like I’ve ever tasted.

We also ordered an avocado shake, halo-halo, cheese hotdog with fries. Nahurot gyud og kaon kay puros lami. ❤️?

Shout out to Ate Melody and the staff for the warm welcome. Lahi ra gyud kung makakaon ka og restaurant nga maabi-abihon.

If you ever happen to visit Shediac, New Brunswick and are looking for Pinoy food, duawa ni ang Sarap. ❤️

Update as of 11.1.2024: We bought the fried chicken this time, and let me tell you, they were juicy, the skin was crispy, and they were seasoned right at least based on my palate. So, even if it’s quite far from Moncton, we will come back because the service and quality are consistent, plus they have other food on the menu which I’m sure is delicious. The food reminds me of home. ❤️

Parking: Parking is right behind the store.
