This place is a little slice of heaven in the middle of Paradise. The food was hands-down. The best lobster I have ever had while being serenaded by a busker that should be on stage. If you have the chance to stop in Shediac, New Brunswick, make this your destination. Chantel Was our server and I could not ask for better people.

I drove up from the states and was looking forward to having a lobster roll in what’s considered by many the lobster capital of the world. It was a disappointment to say the least. While I’m no connoisseur of lobster the lobster at this place was tasteless.

What a disappointment; 1 hour and a half wait before receiving the main course (lobster roll and lobster dinner). We were given chips for the wait! When we asked about the wait, they apologized and told us that everyone arrived at 6 p.m. (it's still a normal rush in a restaurant for the evening meal). It must be said that there are only two waiters who are doing their best. The couple at the neighboring table do not We didn't have the main meal at the same time (30 minutes more waiting for the second person). It's really a shame that the bug in the kitchen has impacted the atmosphere of this charming place. It would be interesting to have a more varied menu.

I recommend the seafood chowder which is excellent and very filling. Our waitress was very cheerful and polite. The atmosphere was very good, beautiful century-old house.

The flavour of the fondue was good but you have a choice of burnt or too cold to maintain the thickness needed for a fondue. The owner has cut corners with the fondue equipment which presents a fire risk which impacts the safety of the restaurant guests and people staying at the hotel above. I hope the fire marshall forces changes to the equipment and adequate training of the owner and the staff to deal with the current fire risk.

The toppings of the poke bowl were OK but the rice was a gelatinous glob that left you wishing you ordered something else or went elsewhere.

When we offered to provide constructive feedback to the owner she informed us feedback is not welcome, said customers were the problem then turned and left. With an attitude like this this individual should not be working in the service industry. When you have the opportunity to dine in Shediac select one of the many establishments that provides great customer service. Unfortunately this establishment is not currently one of them.

We wanted to have a nice dinner here on Saturday, but our experience was not satisfactory. We had ordered a lobster dinner with a side of rice. To our surprise, after waiting around 30 minutes, the server came with potato salad. They did not consult us at all within that time. They simply said that the rice was not ready yet and that too many people had ordered poke bowls. Someone also ordered the seafood bruschetta as a main, and they brought out the wrong dish. The bruschetta arrived last when everyone else was almost finished with their meal. Lastly, two of us wanted to order the seafood chowder but were later told that only one of us could because they had run out. When it arrived, there was little seafood and instead lots of potatoes and carrots. In conclusion, we were disappointed with the service as we did not receive any apologies at all for these inconveniences. We felt as though we had to take it or leave it.

OMG, that's the best lobster we've tried ever. It happened to be our first stop in maritimers, and our first lobster. It definitely set up a standard too high for us, so we expected the same or better in other places we visited (PEI, Cape Breton, Halifax) we ended up making extra stop on our way back just to get this Lobster again. Unfortunately they set up a standard too high for us, so we wasn't amazed in other places ?. They might seem a bit rushed, but it's only because it's a small local restaurant, where owner/cook/occasionally server wearing too many hats at once, making sure everything is done right. So don't be scared of bad reviews, this is a truly hidden gem , with authentic atmosphere and definitely a must stop if you visit the area. Our kudos ? to the owner, we will definitely come back next time when we will visit New Bruwnswick.

**The BEST LOBSTER DINNER in my life**

Lobster is huge (2 pounds at the time we were there ) and they always try to buy only female ones because they have caviar and so delish !!!

We tried lobsters in different places during our trip in Maritimes provinces, but the one from this place can’t be beat ! So we came back even though we had to stay at another city.

Must try !!! Lovely atmosphere, life music and amazing food !

One of the most memorable and best meals I had when traveling to the east coast! My other party members were a bit hesitant at first as we were the only patrons at the restaurant, but all of us were blown away by the food. I got the poke bowl with lobster while my the rest of the party got the lobster roll. Both were super delicious and well portioned, the lobster tasted fresh and felt like the amount was worth the price we paid. The waiter was friendly and was quick to clarify when he got one of the market prices mixed up. I definitely recommend checking this place out!

We were lucky enough to have a great musician playing during our meal.
Our server was knowledgeable, kind, and had great recommendations.
The drinks, the good, and the service were above par.
Thank you for the great memory!

I wish more people knew about this place. We've been searching for the best lobster roll, and this is it! Don’t miss out on the appetizers—the spicy whipped feta and seafood bruschetta are to die for. Both the server and owner were welcoming and super friendly. We’re definitely going to be regulars at this amazing spot. If you’re looking on Google for places to eat, this is your sign.
