Excellent food! We had the Classic Breakfast and the Eggs Benedict. Home fries are authentic pan fried potatoes and are delicious! The ham is also very tasty. Highly recommend this restaurant. Service was prompt and friendly.

Laid back interior, phenomenal food! The deserts were to die for. We got the blueberry dumpling and creme brulee and I would come here again just for those. There is an extensive drink menu, great handheld sandwichs and free beer tasting. I loved that the patio was dog friendly. My family got quite a few of the vegetarian options and they were good as well.

Visiting the area and I'm a beer fan so thought I would give this place a try. I made reservations and when I arrived the table was ready. Greated by server and spoke about what beer they had. I asked that the server put together a flight and he could surprise me. My wife discussed ciders and decided on one. The flight arrived and explained what each beer was, did a great job. We ordered smoke salmon to start. Looked fantastic, great presentation. My wife had the corn flake haddock and I had the schnitzel. Both looked great and large. Both tasted wonderful and enough to take some home.
Service was great, food outstanding, you won't be disappointed.

Super friendly staff! A nice bar menu and excellent beer. Eat here and avoid Calais. 😂
Excellent food and their beer is solid as well. Wife and I had dinner here on our trip to New Brunswick as a friend recommended it, and we loved it. We both had the fried haddock and it was great, cooked perfectly and not too greasy or dried with a crispy batter. Fries were good too, which isn't always the case. Had their porter and golden Ale and they were solid, not amazing but honestly the best beer I had while we were in NB. Service was OK, not bad but could have been better. Ate outside, nice view of the river. Inside seemed less than stellar, so eat outside if you can/weather permits it. Definitely recommend this place!

Nice enough for, they were heading up for a big party arriving, so service was a bit variable. Beers are good though.

This place turned out to be a little gem. The service was a bit slack, but the food quality was more than compensated.
Let's clear up the service issue first. On arriving, we walked into the restaurant, and it was not evident that there were any employees paying attention to the door. We waited about 5 minutes before even being acknowledged. I was ready to walk out.
Regardless, we got our table outside, and the service from that point on was good, not great, but certainly not anything to complain about. I should mention that the inside was a bit dark and dingy. I was not very inviting at all.
Now, on to the good stuff... the food. We were very surprised. We were not expecting this quality based on the overall look of the facility.
My wife for the corn flake breaded fish. She does not typically order fish anywhere, but she tried it, and she said it was really good.
My daughter got the pulled pork Mac and cheese wrap. She devoured it in no time. She loved it, and it is now going to be on our menu at home for my next pulled pork on the Tregger.
I had the beef dip Yorkies. They were fantastic. They got everything right. They were so huicy and full of flavor our that the side dish of Jus was not needed. If I had fries, it would have been on them. The salad was a bit bland. They added the dressing prior to serving. My preference is dressing served on the side so that you can put as much or as little as you like. Apparently, I was supposed to stir the dressing into the salad, but that bowl was stuffed full. There was no stirring.
Over all, this is an excellent restaurant and I highly recommend them.
