Honestly, I didn’t expect to love this place as much as I did. St. Stephen 5 Kings Restaurant & Picaroons Brewhouse just has that kind of vibe where you feel comfortable right away. The staff were super friendly without being over the top, and you can tell they actually care about making sure you have a good time.
The food was really, really good — not just “restaurant good,” but the kind where you’re still thinking about it later. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor, and the portions were solid too.
And the beer? So good. Whether you’re into craft beer or just want to try something different, there’s a lot to choose from and it all pairs perfectly with the food.
It’s one of those spots you could go to for a casual night out or bring friends when they’re visiting. I’ll definitely be back.

Great spot in St. Stephen. We came in with our whole basketball team and parents, and the staff did an awesome job taking care of a big group. Food was really good, portions were generous, and everything came out hot and fresh.

Service was friendly and efficient, and the vibe was laid-back and fun. Solid beer selection too. Prices are a bit higher, but overall it was a great experience.

Would definitely come back and would recommend it, especially for team meals or group outings.

What an amazing lunch right across the road from the river. Great menu and many choices for beer. They also jave interesting food choices to give you some variety we have Lamb and chicken and a very nice curry soup.

The food was really good, nice family atmosphere.

Only complaint is the new fad of ketchup rationing that seems to be happening everywhere. They will happily give you more if you ask but it feels like a bother and I'm not a fan of this.

We vacation in St Stephen once a year and this is a must stop everytime. We love it so much that we make sure we have two meals planned at this spot. The place is very beautiful inside and out and the food is absolutely delectable. The lobster rangoons are out of this world. It’s also a great spot after a walk along river to stop and sit at the bar for a yummy drink. Recommend 100%.

Were looking for a sit down restaurant and found this on the map. Staff was attentive but not overbearing and we got help when we needed it. Food was DELICIOUS! They had a promo on a 10oz steak and I did not regret my choice, it was cooked perfectly. Kids loved their food as well from the kids menu. Picaroon beer was good as always, would recommend the Irish Red. We will definitely come back next time we're in the area :)

Had been among favourite restaurants, new server was grouchy, took forever to come take drink order, then left abruptly after taking only 2, but we were 5 in our party! Had to laugh, but at same time was embarrassed to take out of town guests there.

We stumbled across this restaurant as we were walking around town. The food was wonderful as was the wait staff. We had something in a apple fritter bun that was out of this world and huge to boot. We're ready to eat there again as the food was so good, but it was closed on Monday when we went back. It is in a working brewery. Lots of different kinds of beers to taste. You'll enjoy it.

Been here twice.food is ok, waiting is terrible 45 min to ger beer,1.5 hours to get food, simple bowl of soup..oter people same way..

Food ok, terrible service, pricey. Will not go again. Waited for a table but that was only because there was no one to take care of us.
