Going to Carman's feels like going home. The food is good -- right down to the REAL, hand-formed burgers - the atmosphere is friendly and warm, and the service is excellent. LOVE IT HERE.

First of all the Staff are Amazing!!!
Had several meals here over couple of days while working in the area from out of Prov.
The food was delicious, served quickly and hot considering we were a large group of 40 hungry Powerline workers.
Thanks to staff for making us all feel welcome!! Big shout to Susie , great smile😀

Stopped by here on the way back from the US.
The service and food were wonderful.
My wife had the scallop roll and I had the hot beef sandwich with poutine'd fries and the stuffing.

Scallops were perfectly cooked, beef was fall apart tender, good flavor to everything, nice use of herbs in both the stuffing and gravy. Green beans tasted canned, but it's the middle of winter in NB at a diner, so very reasonable at least in my books.

It all was the perfect food for a very cold winter day.

Desserts which we got to go were fantastic - spiced pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting was to die for, and a solid bread pudding too.

Great service even as they were wrapping up the day. Didn't feel rushed to leave. Coffee refill was offered and taken. My wife had a chocolate milkshake which was accompanied by a decent amount extra from the blender cup, and was delicious.

We'll be stopping by again next time we head that way for sure

Oh. My. Lanta!! Best place I have been to in so long. First time there today with my partner. They had the 2 peice fish and chips and I had the small poutine.

I usually ask about the gravy and our server, Donna said it was a combination of beef, pork and turkey. So I went for it. I would have licked the plate clean if that was sociably acceptable. It was that delish!

The fish and chips were amazing! The only fish I have had in many, many moons that I did not require tarter sauce for.

Our server Donna, what a gem! Very welcoming, kind and made us feel right at home. Loved the diner theme, the service and the food.

Carman's Diner in St. Stephen is a delightful step back in time, with that classic, nostalgic diner feel that makes you feel right at home. The interior has a charming retro vibe that perfectly complements its warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food here is reliably good—comforting, hearty, and just what you’d hope for from a classic diner menu.

What truly stands out at Carman's, though, is the staff. They're genuinely friendly, attentive, and make you feel like part of the family. Whether it's your first visit or you're a regular, they make everyone feel welcome with great service and a friendly smile. If you’re passing through or just looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a meal, Carman's Diner is well worth a stop.

Visiting family and went to Carmen's for lunch. My sister and I split a seafood platter it was 40.00 and I was so disappointed. The clams were chewy and way to much batter. The scallops did not have the membrane removed and the fish was over cooked. The waitress sat who sat us seemed uninterested in being there. Two of us had no utensils when mentioned to her she blamed it on someone else. I had been there in the past and was pleased with service and food however I will not go there again. We also went for lunch at Comeaus and platter was so completely different for the better. Also another diner I think whitehouse waitress was so nice and food was delicious will go there before Carmen's again

The kind of place I would visit often if I lived locally. The food was pretty good and we really liked the vibe of the place. Our waitress was really nice but could have used some help with the number of tables she had to keep up with.
