I had the opportunity to visit Spinney’s Seafood Market and enjoyed perhaps the best Lobster Roll I have ever had!! Being a Maritimer, I have had many lobster rolls from lots of places in my years but this one tops them all. No fancy, heavy sauces or spices to take away from the beautiful delicate taste of the HUGE amount of lobster in an oversized, delicately toasted bun with some crunchy lettuce and a light mayonnaise sauce. Oh My! I have to mention the seafood market itself. Spotlessly clean with the lobsters and choices of fish clearly on display. The staff are all very accommodating and the restroom is spotless as well. Thanks for living up to the hype Spinney’s. I WILL be back. What a treat.

While the lobster roll is huge with tons of lobster meat, it's bland. There's absolutely no flavor due mainly, I think, to too little salt during the cooking process. I don't know what else would cause it to be flavorless. I had one today for the second time (had one last summer). Same issue, no flavour. Maybe if it was cooked in seawater, that might fix the problem. But, it's an issue for me. I buy my lobster live and steam it in heavily salted water and it's always bursting with flavor. Just my opinion.

We had the very last lobster roll for the 2024 season.
When we arrived, there was a sign that said the place was closed. The operator/owner saw us as she was leaving to go across the street. She came back and asked what we were looking for. my wife wanted the lobster roll. As a result, the owner made the last lobster roll of the season and served it to my wife.
This happens to us a lot and this photo is a half eaten Lobster roll. The reason for that is we forget to take photos sometimes.

I think eating a lobster roll here might be the closest thing to a religious experience I have ever had. This spot was recommended by a local, and well worth the drive out of the way to get to it. The staff were really friendly and it was a clean, accessible store and outdoor eating area.
The food was reasonably priced, especially considering how fresh the seafood was. You get about 1lb of lobster on a super soft, buttery roll. I even got two rolls to go, as well as a funky shirt from their store.
I couldn't recommend this enough and would be lying if I said I didn't think about it often and I'm scheming about how to get back here.

Best value lobster roll that we had in NB. If you are only doing lobster rolls, order inside. We went twice, and ordering outside took about 30 minutes longer than ordering inside, even when they all were not busy. We also grabbed a halibut steak to go that made some fantastic grilled fish tacos.

If you want fresh seafood this is the place to go. My husband and I shared the seafood feast and we couldn't finish it. The next time we go we are taking a cooler with us to bring some fresh seafood home. The owner is a fisherman and sells the fish he catches. You might have to wait a while for your food because it is very busy. It's worth the wait though .
Friendly staff and our favorite lobster spot ❤️ we just buy it from the market and they crack so we can enjoy it on the beach.
