Great quality of food! The wait is a bit much as they’re really busy most of the season but the food is worth the wait. The ambiance is perfect. Great views of the caves from the restaurant. I’d recommend going at least 3 hours before as their last 2 hours get really busy. You can enjoy the perfect view from your table while waiting for the food!

3 yrs ago, they served up Absolutely THE best scallops ever!! Not greasy, not over battered, just delicious!! We came back to enjoy them again this week and I was disappointed. They were small rubber balls with way too much batter.

Quite possibly the best seafood chowder I've ever had. And a nice view to enjoy it by.

Solid fish and chips and good service. On the pricier side but not surprising due to the scenic/touristy location.

WAS EXPECTING WAY..WAY better food than we received..IF YOU HAVE A RESTAURANT BY THE SEA YOU GOT TO BRING YOUR TRIPPLE A GAME. YOU REPERSENTENT SEAFOOD TO PEOPLE FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD. BRING YOUR TRIPPLE A GAME. OR DONT PLAY THE GAME..So we didn't know how it would be as it was our first time eating here. I ordered the 2 pieces of fish and chips for my wife. And I got an order of fresh clams for myself . Which is normally enough for me at OZZIES or CLAM DIGGER... I was shocked, and my wife was as well. 😲 at the size of the clam order i received. I MEAN SHOCKED.. LIKED SHOCKED...SOOO.... SOOO.....SMALLLLLLL we could not believe it. For real..22$.SHOCKED.... I Ate the clams within 2 minutes. They were not great as well. REALLY... There, Tarter sauce is terrible tasting. Just sitting in the heat
in a plastic cup on the counter not safe to eat.. REALLY... Didn't satisfy my fried clam craving at all. I had some of her fries , they were good. WOW GOOD FRIES.
and a little piece of her fish. We both found the batter to be salty.
My advice...Drive to Clam Diggers if you want great tasting, Fresh Clams that satisfy, and a good amount for your money. And better fish and chips ( Not Salty ) for half the price. The view is not the water. But you can have a better tasting meal at a cheaper price. And the water is not far away.

While on our Canada and New England cruise, we had the chance to meet a wonderful driver from Syria who highly recommended visiting St. Martins. He told us how beautiful the area was, and we decided to take his advice and drive there with him. As soon as we arrived, we fell in love with the breathtaking scenery and the peaceful atmosphere of the location. It was truly a hidden gem.

Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time to sit down for a full meal at Caves Restaurant, but we wanted to try their food after hearing great things. So, we picked up several items to go, including their famous seafood chowder and fish and chips. We ended up having a picnic in the car, which turned out to be a unique and memorable adventure in itself. The food was fantastic — the seafood chowder was rich and flavorful, packed with fresh seafood, and the fish and chips were perfectly crispy and delicious.

Even though we didn’t get to enjoy the dining room or the stunning patio views, the takeout experience made our visit extra special. We loved being able to enjoy such great food while surrounded by the beauty of St. Martins. If you’re ever in the area, don’t miss this restaurant. It’s a wonderful spot with amazing food and a great location. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy a full meal there next time!

You will understand that we don't go there for the view of the sea caves, but for the seafood food! Miaaaaam.. the plate of fish'n chips is more than generous.. and the fish literally melts in the mouth. This is not a five-course restaurant, you have been warned! Go there for the pleasure of eating there in a unique atmosphere.

Great view of the St Martin's Sea Caves and Sea. Food is pricey for the size and taste is nothing fancy or out of ordinary. I was expecting more due to the reviews. I was much disappointed and won't go back again!
