“We stopped by while our Jeep was getting fixed down the road. The garage recommended this place. My partner had the chicken poutine, and it was absolutely delicious! The gravy was thick and rich, and the chicken pieces were huge and perfectly grilled. I decided to try their liver and onions as well as the haddock bites. The liver was cooked to perfection and topped with large fried onions. Two scoops of fresh mashed potatoes with thick beef gravy were also a must-try. The corn, carrots, and peas were cooked to perfection, with the carrots having a nice flavor and some crunch that was different from other places where they’re mushy. The haddock bites were also perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I forgot to ask if they made their own tartar sauce, but it was delicious and definitely not from a package. Overall, I had a great experience. I’d rate it a solid 10/10. If you’re in the area and looking for a good place to eat besides BlueCanoe, I highly recommend stopping by. And guess what? They have fresh baked cookies and treats that you can buy at the front door!“

“What great employees at this location. It was close to noon and there was only 1 individual in the kitchen and 1 at the front. Despite this, the staff was friendly, fast, efficient and worked hard to ensure we did not experience delays. Truly impressed with this strong work ethic. These 2 employees deserve praise and recognition.“

“A great location right off the transcanada highway with a convenient drive thru or a sit in restaurant. I stopped here on both was of my trip and sent in once to find a clean restaurant, especially the restroom. The service was friendly and fast each visit. The food was hot and the burgers I had were very tasty and that is why I returned. Good location with gas stations and hotels nearby.“

“Haven't eaten fast food in years, but was travelling & my daughter recommended A&W for their healthy food. And the food looked much like the photo! Loved the condiments & cleanup at back of store, and the staff were very nice. Was impressed!
Would have rated atmosphere higher, but there was loads of garbage way behind the store that obviously isn't picked up - people are so grubby, but it was so gross & doesn't look good for A&W.“

Her name was Pauline she was an older lady, she gave us directions to where we needed to go as we were traveling as well as she made accommodations for us as best as she could and gave us a coupon for an ice coffee as well as they worked fast and had good quality snacks“
