Country View Restaurant

We stopped by while our Jeep was getting fixed down the road. The garage recommended this place. My partner had the chicken poutine, and it was absolutely delicious! The gravy was thick and rich, and the chicken pieces were huge and perfectly grilled. I decided to try their liver and onions as well as the haddock bites. The liver was cooked to perfection and topped with large fried onions. Two scoops of fresh mashed potatoes with thick beef gravy were also a must-try. The corn, carrots, and peas were cooked to perfection, with the carrots having a nice flavor and some crunch that was different from other places where they’re mushy. The haddock bites were also perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I forgot to ask if they made their own tartar sauce, but it was delicious and definitely not from a package. Overall, I had a great experience. I’d rate it a solid 10/10. If you’re in the area and looking for a good place to eat besides BlueCanoe, I highly recommend stopping by. And guess what? They have fresh baked cookies and treats that you can buy at the front door!

Terrible Freezer Burnt Fish and the French Fries were awful to the point of Disgusting, not at all what our friends recommend. We would never ever return to a Restaurant that claims to be Homemade but is the furthest thing from it. Flavorless Fish, how does that even exist? Fish Sticks have more flavor. Take Out...to the GARBAGE CAN is what you'll be picking up from this Place.

Only ate at the restaurant. Incredible homemade food. Best Seafood Chowder ever! Cars are driving fast on 128 near the entrance, so be careful. I was super impressed with the food, portions, and price. The pictures tell it all, and the taste was awesome.

I had the Lobster roll special comes with a side and a salad. I was told that it was $21.99 so I ordered that. I couldn't see or taste any Mayo, I ate it anyways. My bill came and she charged me $25.99 plus tax almost $30.00.

They catered our daughters wedding. The people were very impressed with the pulled pork a long with the best potato salad. There was no shortage of food. Very impressed with the service and the quality of food. Great Job.

We have not been since 2019, was there 08/03/4. Still the same great place. Absolutely nothing to complain about, and everything to rave about, seafood is excellent, desserts are sinful.
