I have had lunch at least once every week for the last 5 years at Knocks Cafe.
The servers are friendly and fun. The grab N go for lunch is the best deal in town (and likely the best anywhere in NB). Soup, sandwich, and a drink for $12 including tax and it's all homemade and the sandwich meat is not processed junk.
Sitdown meals are also great. Good portions, good prices.
Deserts are above and beyond good.
My favourite restaurant by far.

What a delightful find! My wife & I were overnighting in Sussex after enjoying the Fundy Trail (another treat) and wanted something light for dinner. We were tired, the cafe was humming, so we opted for take-out! I could not have received a warmer welcome from servers & chefs (it’s an intimate space) when I entered & lingered for our order to be prepared. We had a soup & sandwich which were excellent, but topped off with THE most amazing lemonade! WOW. What a treat. Knocks: we can’t wait to return…for everything!

Fast and friendly service. A cozy cafe with an art gallery filled with art made by local artisans. A wonderful selection of pottery, fabric arts, and paintings. A real cozy hometown vibe in this place.
Vegetarian options: Fresh, healthy and delicious vegetarian menu options. My homemade carrot and basil soup was amazing. The freshly made flatbread open faced sandwich was amazing. Unfortunately i didn’t get a picture of my delicious caramel latte.

We were just passing through town and someone recommended we stop into Knocks for lunch, and were we ever glad they did! The menu is amazing, something for everyone. The portions were huge, and the food came out within minutes of ordering. My husband had the Indian rice bowl, and I had the harvest salad. The portions were perfect!
