Great food! Big portions. No M.S.G. We left without feeling, “UGH!” It was our first time trying here and we will be back. We dined inside and waiters were friendly and sweet and made us feel at home. Clean place and a very busy spot. Sarah was the main waitress/cashier who was really multitasking with constant incoming calls /take out orders and waiting on people that dined in. Despite being really busy she remained professional and sweet. The prices were really good considering how much you get! The female cook that we seen was very kind to customers too and took calls to help when she could.

First meal here was rather disappointing, after hearing some great things. The chicken balls seemed to be refried to warm them up, and the fried rice was bland. The egg rolls and chow mein were good but not amazing.

I was quite excited for my visit this evening. My family and I traveled 25 minutes to try the food that has gotten such great reviews only to be met with sheer disappointment, frustration and left with empty bellies. When we arrived, a few customers were waiting for their take out orders but no one at the front counter. Being from out of town, we didn’t realize that there’s basically no sit-in dining. Oh there’s tables, but they were empty. We sat down. 10 minutes went by and no one had come out. A few more minutes went by and a lady came out with some people’s orders. She said to us, “we’ll be right with you”. Ok, great! It’s busy, we get that. She never came back out. Another lady comes out from the back with takeout orders. She didn’t acknowledge our existence. She kept looking at those who were standing in the entry asking who was next, over and over. We didn’t get menus, water, kiss my butt, nothing. After waiting for 25 minutes, we put our coats on and said we were leaving after waiting for so long. The lady’s response was “That’s ok”. We said, “No, it’s not ok. We were waiting for 25 minutes or more without being acknowledged and we drove quite a ways for this.” Because everyone deserves second chances, we might order take out another time but the first visit was less than desirable. Service needs improvement to say the least. Don’t worry, we didn’t leave town hungry, Dixie Lee was ready in 10 mins.

I love Kwans! Every time I call for take out the service is great and the food taste awesome!. I’ve never sat down to eat however, when I come pick up my food I find the inside of the restaurant somewhat austere.
