Very nice brewery with a relaxing terrace, a great selection of beer, cool vibes, good music and great staff. We just had some pints but the food looked quite yummy as well :-). A pity that we were not hungry. We really liked it here! NB rocks. Who knows - maybe we'll come back some day :-)

Was there in Sussex for the balloon festival so likely the busiest weekend of the summer. On the Friday night there was only one employee when I visited and service was too slow so we left. Back again Saturday and it was a slight improvement. You seem to have to ask a server for help as they were busy. The beer was ok but it's not to my taste. The cider was good.
The street side patio is nice but be advised there's a good amount of hillbillies driving down main street in their big diesel trucks or loud Honda civics and the pastime is revving their engines as they drive by the patio.

Awesome beers, great service. We had a couple of blondes and an “Elbows up” maple flavoured beer it was awesome. I saw them give water to someone’s dog right away, it’s a really nice touch. Thank you for the warm welcome Scott. Keep it up, cheers 🍻

We have been to Sussex Ale works 3X this summer while visiting Sussex and I highly recommend. Nice selection and great service. We have had the pleasure of Scott waiting on us each time and he makes our visits very enjoyable. Also it’s dog friendly.
