Amazing experience, food is exceptional! We had the pulled pork with the burger, and a bacon cheeseburger. He had a side poutine and I had a garden salad the house made salad dressing was unbelievable. Definitely 10/10

We stopped at the Sussex ale place and this restaurant ( which is 2 doors away) provided the food.The naan breads were so yummy! Great food!

We loved everything about the restaurant - the food, the service, the atmosphere, the decor… My crunchy chicken cilantro lime grilled naan was utterly delicious. My husband loved his grilled cheese. The sweet potato fries are fabulous! We would make it a point to eat here again if we ever return to NB.

We went in for dinner Thursday night. I ordered the hit chicken. They use pepper in one of their gravies, and I found it too much for my preference. They were so kind and willing to redo the dish with the milder gravy. All with smiles. Even the gals in the kitchen didn't seem put off by it. My boyfriend loved the Newfiundland Poutine... It was so delicious.
Well done, gals!! I appreciate the quick change. The food was amazing. The service was second to none!! I will be back for sure....and remember to ask about the gravy!! 😉
Another day, we were there for breakfast, and it was so tasty! We bought a couple of cookies from. The showcase when we left....they were gone so quickly. They were so yummy....and they had gluten-free options for desserts.

The food was amazing, but the service was terrible. I don't understand why a restaurant would try to seat every table when it's short-staffed, resulting in poor service. Oh, wait, it's called maximizing profits at the cost of their customer experience. If it doesn't have enough staff, it should consider limiting the number of tables it seats to ensure good service for those with reservations. And those who don't have reservations can look for another place to eat, which would do everyone a favour instead of having a restaurant full of unhappy customers.
I am writing this experience as"Tasteful cuisine, tasteless service."
PS When a customer tells you that the service has been terrible, own it, apologize, and try to make it better instead of trying to make the customer feel like the bad guy for saying something.

We aren't local but try to get to this restaurant a few times a year. Every time we've gone we've never been disappointed. The food presentation is beautiful 😍 everything is so fresh. And the flavors are equally incredible. Restaurant is beautifully decorated and cozy. My go to is mostly the Big crunch salad... omg yum!! we've recently tried one of their poutines that had cheddar cheese on it. I was skeptical but it was delicious. I'm super fussy with gravy and theirs is perfect. I highly recommend Taste and See.

We had the chicken pickle poutine + it was SO good! Our server was really nice, helpful + responsive. We were able to get our food quickly, eat + get back on the road. Wish we lived closer because we'd eat here a lot more often!
The food was decent, but the service was disappointing. We were seated at a table that hadn't been wiped down and waited a long time before receiving menus—only after prompting from another staff member. Meanwhile, three tables that were seated after us received water and took their orders promptly. It took 30 minutes for our server to return to take our order(and we have to ask for that), and the food arrived another 20 minutes later. To make matters worse, my side salad was mistakenly replaced with fries. Frustrated and hungry, I finished my meal quickly and left. Overall, it was a very unsatisfactory experience.

The four of us stopped there for lunch today after attending the Sussex flea market. The burgers were among the best I have ever had,. The french fries are hand cut and chip truck quality. All others at our table as well were very complimentary of their dishes as well. Definitely will visit again when in the area.
Traveled from Fredericton with my Wife and and another friend for the annual local flea market and decided we’d try a restaurant in town instead of getting generic greasy food from the food trucks and this place did not disappoint, all 3 of us really enjoyed our meals, Pictured was my meal, the Susstown burger was so good and is better than any burger I’ve had in Fredericton, Hands down. the Poutine also did not disappoint. The kitchen is open to the dining room which is nice as you can see the cleanliness of the cook station . We did have to wait longer than normal for our food but they were really busy and the 5 ladies in the kitchen were not slacking by any means and were firing out other amazing looking dishes within minutes of one and other (Every other dish looked delicious) 5 stars all day long. Would highly recommend and will definitely be stopping to eat here every time we visit Sussex.
