Just had supper there and was very pleased.
Great staff and food was delicious.
I had crispy chicken poutine and was stuffed.

Only downside for some might be that it's unlicensed and doesn't serve beer etc.

I was fine with it.
Definitely will try the place again if in the area.

We didn’t wait for a table but the food took a very long time close to an hour.

Amazing experience, food is exceptional! We had the pulled pork with the burger, and a bacon cheeseburger. He had a side poutine and I had a garden salad the house made salad dressing was unbelievable. Definitely 10/10

The sticky bun French toast is creative, decadent, and delicious. The bacon is just right. As a cafe or breakfast venue, the ambience is perfect. This place is clearly loved by its regulars, and it's easy to see why! If you are coming through Sussex, you have to try it.

We happened upon this restaurant yesterday! We stopped at the Sussex ale place and this restaurant ( which is 2 doors away) provided the food. The naan breads were so yummy! Great food!

This is our first time being here, so was a little apprehensive. I ordered the skillet, and my wife ordered the traditional breakfast #3. I had initially thought that the price for the skillet was a bit steep, until it was delivered. It was a huge skillet compared to others that I've had. I can usually finish a skillet, but am ashamed to say I couldn't this one, lol. My wife did state the bigger potato slices were a bit undercooked, and our server said she would pass the message along. The only other complaint I had, and it doesn't change my rating, is that there was no padding on the benches, but the food more than made up for it. If you're ever in Sussex, try this place out, well worth it.

I don't like to leave such a low star review, however, our experience here was horrible. The ladies serving were indeed, friendly, but we were given the slowest service I've ever had. We waited a long time for a drink, we waited almost one hour for an opened faced sandwich that barely had anything on it. I was shocked at the look of this sandwich and especially the cheap bread it was on, it looked like Wonder whole wheat bread. For $19?! We asked for the salad to go, after being there for over an hour with just being given a small cheap open faced sandwich, we had to go inside from the patio to pay, no body was coming back to check on us or give us the bill. Then, they said they had to go make our salad that we told from the beginning we'd take with us. Horrible and slow service, food was not worth it and we're not going back.

We loved everything about the restaurant - the food, the service, the atmosphere, the decor… My crunchy chicken cilantro lime grilled naan was utterly delicious. My husband loved his grilled cheese. The sweet potato fries are fabulous! We would make it a point to eat here again if we ever return to NB.
