Exceptional Service & Outstanding Food!
Cape 16 Restaurant truly impressed me from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making the whole dining experience feel warm and personal. I ordered a burger, and I can confidently say it was one of the best I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor, and served with fresh, quality ingredients. Every bite was delicious. If you’re looking for a place with excellent service, a relaxed atmosphere, and food that exceeds expectations, Cape 16 is a must-visit. Visited on August 15.

Fish and chips some of the best we've ever had. Pleasingly presented. Not greasy. Fresh. Service was excellent. Very friendly! Clean. Date squares and donuts from bakery super good. Too bad we live in Truro NS so we can't get there more often.

Great spot. Fish and chips were delicious.
Stopped by Cape 16 on June 17th. In speaking with the staff, I learned they had just reopened 3 days earlier. The place was very clean and it appears the new owners have spend some money upgrading the place.
I ordered a bacon cheese burger and my wife ordered the chicken strips. Our server and the cook (who is a lady from Newfoundland) were both very friendly and talkative. They asked what I would like on my burger (tomatoes, lettuce, etc.) and the cook was very enthusiastic about cooking up some white onions to put on it. The food was tasty and hot.
Afterwards, we walked down to the bakery part of the building. They have fresh bread and other goodies, as well as a bank of refrigerators with meats, cheeses and other goodies.
I would definitely stop here again for a meal.

We just drove by July 11 2014, and the sign out front says "Closed until April" and it was obviously empty. I believe it is out of business ?
Had clam platter and it was perfect! Clams were tender with a light crispy batter and the homemade fries were perfectly crispy but not hard.Service, as always, was excellent ?

What a hidden gem. Our group of 4 ended up at Cape 16 after finding the Big Stop at Aulac too jam-packed and lined up to get in or wait in line. (No Covid distancing was happening in that line-up.). Cape 16 was super clean, the staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. The food was made in an open kitchen where you can see it being prepared. We tried the turkey club, the haddock sandwich, sweet potato fries, garden salad, chicken sandwich and crispy fries. We were very satisfied with our meals. There were some wonderful baked goods available, we saved that for next time because we definitely will be back.
We were on our way to PEI.Fantastic Food for a quick stop.Service was great, they really care about your satisfaction.
Cheese burger and fries knocked my appetite
