So I would argue that the view is one of the best on the island (overlooking Herring Cove). We enjoyed a nice lunch while out running the roads of the island. Our waitress was both friendly and responsive, while managing multiple tables. Three of us had burgers and my wife had the barbecue quesadillas, all of which were delicious. The burger meat seemed fresh (not frozen) and the onion rings were fried to a golden perfection. We left both full and happy!
Great place to eat. The food is just a regular Atlantic seaside menu so nothing fancy but the food they make is really well made and love their BLT. The waitressing on this island is, again just like the Pier and Porch, little to be desired. She won’t come back around to check up on you. But overall, nice place.
My wife and I had a GREAT meal and with GREAT service. There were many people there in a line-up for the deck but we got inside with no problem. EXCELLENT food and service and scenery.
